I don't know if my plastic surgery comment was one, but my view on that applies to everyone who has it for cosmetic purposes.

Many a face is destroyed by it.

Look at the once beautiful Robert Redford.  His face is a mess.

I have never heard him say he wants to be a women in an interview.

I saw a recent video of an interview with kim and there are photos of all the kids gathered around him - he is very much a part of their lives and they love and support him.

She would not comment on his life other than to say its his story to tell and he will tell it when and if the time is right for him.

Pols, agree, redford not the only one.

If you stick yourself front and centre in a reality show then you cant complain if people comment on all aspects.

I cant see the fascination with Kim and family.

He recently got a divorce..... that doesn't mean he wants to be a women. Maybe he will give an interview about raising the kids and life

If he is transitioning, Why would he need to have such a surgery to make it complete? A misconception is that everyone must follow the same path. Some choose to have certain surgerys and others choose not to. I had that surgery you mention, the bottom surgery, but just see it as one of many, if it's the bottom, top, or face, they even have a sergery for voice I considered but later found I didn't need it. To as much as medically possible, to correct a phyisical deformity. Consider that some might be one half of a lesbain married couple and still use that thing, happy and content with their life. I never had the top surgery, many here could probibly guess correctly that I can't afford it, but even if I could, I'm not sure if or not I would. I seem to get by fine with what little I have, and I can always wear those silicone forms in an oversized bra.

I would like to know why society makes such a big deal of this family and bruce's transition.

Do people really give a damn or much thought to it ?

They must really lead boring lives if they need reality TV to spice things up.

Joanie I only said that as I've read that he is talking about having it done.  I have no conceptions or misconceptions about it as I know very little about the process and of course know nothing of what his plans are, nor do I particularly need to.  I totally take on board what you are saying and thanks for educating me further.
