My opinion is there is alot going on with this, that they are not telling us, they appear to be covering something up...........surely with all the boats and aircraft out there looking, something must have been found.

Feel so sad for the families of those missing, the waiting must be dreadful.

You're right. I once considered being an ATC....High pay, great benifits and retirement plan. It was well known to be stressful and the thought of being responsible for all those lives....

It made number 7 on the list of most stressful job.....working parent #1 (after clocking out....you clock back in!)

As an air traffic controller you have to be paying attention 100% the entire time.

Flight plans are not and cannot be changed by radar - they are changed by pilots, usually on the instructions of flight controllers.

Your post 2 reads like something from a comic book, and written by someone with no practical aeronautical knowledge (PS the ceiling of a B777-200  is well below 49,000 feet)

If you want to allege an evil conspiracy you should know the  technical aspects associated with the topic.
