Well I suppose it had to happen.

Barnaby Joyce announced his resignation at 2pm  today.

I haven't caught up with the fall out, yet.  It will be over all the news programs tonight..

Tony Abbott is still opening his mouth....I will be happy if he just shuts up for a little while!

If I were Malcolm Turnbull I may stay overseas for a bit longer!!

You may well be bright. ( edit to David, - discovered this typo on re-reading and thought you might get a laugh out of it. Meant to read " be right "...    ) I still think the biggest problem Nick has is that it is impossible for one person to be across all areas of policy. ( thats why we have 20 or 30 ministers with seperate portfolios ). he is drowning in policy detail and making basic errors because it is simplyn too much for one man and he wont allow his party members to have any input. He is the puppet master and his candidates are simply chess pieces there to protect and embellish the kings power.
