The eBay forum fiddlers have been fiddling.
One must now enter at least 10 characters or the post will grumble angrily in red and refuse to do anything.

I noticed that yesterday.
They obviously don't want us to just post pics, but must have text now.

You are right. I just tried.
This a a clear attack against posts containing a simple, meaningful LOL.
Does this mean that we have to write something when posting an image?
I can't try because I have reached my maximum of 1000 images again and am not in the mood to delete one just to try...

Resting on the job
(Yes, a picture counts for nothing in the character count. I can also confirm that HTML code counts for nothing. Itโs 10 text characters or you canโt post.)

Yes, we now have to type something...

I guess they have never heard the adage "A picture is worth a thousand words"...
Not to mention that sometimes it is really better not to add an explanation, like in the thread with weird photos.

Yes, that thread in particular. Maybe we can just add something like "photo taken in (the year)" (if known). Explaining would indeed ruin the weirdness.

A simple Image above meets the required number of characters and could be used wherever required.

Or... for cats or dogs... just some hearts above and below if they are cute images. They are characters too.
