Re: COMMUNITY FRIENDSHIP THREAD FOR EVERYONE

Good morning!! I am home from a lovely long weekend in Hobart! It was beautiful .... but cold! I love Qld weather!
Hubby is now on his "I want to move to Hobart" rant.
I told him he has to find a way to move our whole family though, lol, as I will not move there without them.

Re: COMMUNITY FRIENDSHIP THREAD FOR EVERYONE

Good morning all!

Hi jvh - 'husband sitting' can be worse than 'child sitting' - fortunately mine is working so can't complain. (He leaves at 5am to swim before work - as he is worried about weight/blood pressure - bp was 190 when he was tested last week).

Hey Libby think we are getting your weather - really cold/windy today - plan on staying home and doing not much.

Scatty good luck with the apples - sorry no hints - never made them - closest would be an apple crumble. Good Luck!

Karen I love Hobart - love to go to the little town of Richmond.

Dame if you are around - waves to you.

Hi dancing - lucky you in the midst of summer time!

Hope everyone enjoying their day - think I might go clean out some closets (yawn) -

Re: COMMUNITY FRIENDSHIP THREAD FOR EVERYONE

Hello Miss, Libby, Nefertiti, jvh, Scatty PCT and all others I have not mentioned.

My boys left for Japan today and hubby and I leave for China in 5 days.

Have not been on much lately as the computer has been playing up so had to find other things to amuse myself. JVH.....would love some of the weather you are having. Here in Melbourne it is freezing, wet and windy.

Haven't done much lately, but must get the suitcases ready and start packing things I won't need before I go away. What is more frustating packing or unpacking?

Hope everyone is well and keeping out of mischief.

Re: COMMUNITY FRIENDSHIP THREAD FOR EVERYONE

Have a lovely time in China! nohousework.
I could never live in Hobart, it is too far from my children!
Just spoke to my son and his family, they are in Darwin atm and heading to Kakadu tomorrow. It's my eldest grandchild's 6th Birthday today and the first birthday I have missed. I wonder where the 6 yrs went?

Re: COMMUNITY FRIENDSHIP THREAD FOR EVERYONE

Hello everyone ๐Ÿ™‚

Have fun nohousework, I hope you really enjoy China. I'd love to go round the world one day and particularly visit Rome and Paris! Right now all I can manage is a virtual tour LOL

Glad you had a great time in Tassie Karen.

I've been baking, cleaning and playing with the kids.

Talking about being cold I don't think its reached over 10 degrees here all week yesterday the high was 7, currently its 6 degrees!

I got my split system installed yesterday, ahh heaven lol

Now with running the dryer and split system I'm terrified to open my power bill when it comes.

Hi everyone!

Thanks for the link jvh - they obviously have never heard of Granny Smith's - in England - the ONLY apple worth baking!:-)
One tip was adding water to the pan!

When I've achieved my miracle cooking for 60 and it's hailed as a great success?!!!! I'[ll post recipe here for all my friends on this thread!:-x

nohousework - you have green envy arrows towards you right now!!!! - Enjoy your trip:-p

Having lots of trouble with ebay posting here - 3rd try!!!! but now I've learnt to copy everything before posting - don't know why this is happening - no crude stuff in these posts!:O
