> ooops JV , i already put it in the dryer, on a low setting tho, it has not shrunk ..BUT.. it has come up a treat sooo soft and fluffy!am up early this mornin, wanted to get a couple of loads of washing on, heading back to bed tho in 2 shakes of a lambs tail!
>
> Will send up some glorious Adelaide weather 2 you tho, 17 and some rain...lovely...I hate the heat..so i am NOT looking forward to summer!!!
>
> well naji is being very appreciative atm. he has had an early breaky of lamb and liver mince....its a fresh meat cat food from the "FUSSY CAT" range...he lubbs it, not that he is a fussy boy anyway, but he will only really eat "Whiskas" tinned and sometimes the expensive little gourmet tins, that usually cost about $1.20 for a tiny tin!!! he eats better than I do, but I love him, and dont care as long as he is happy ,oh and as long as he does not puke on the bed again, it was very hard to remake the bed , early hours of the morning, but the recliner chair was too uncomfortable, it was also a painful process, as I had to try and get the underlay on, then the bottom sheet, but I could not manage the top sheet, fitted sheets and underlays made it a bit easier.. but my neck and back are aching this morning, so its metsal cream time again..(like Deep Heat)that stuff is really good ,it gets really hot , that way you know that it is working..
>
> I hope you get rain soon tho JV, nothing scares me more than bushfires, remember the "Ash Wednesday" fires in Adelaide back in 1981 My uncle and 12 year old cousin were both killed in that fire..it was very sad..
>
> My cousin went to the stables to let the horses out, as she thought they would stand a better chance at finding somewhere safe , than being left in the stable..The fires approached so fast they had no time to do anything but try get themselves out, well she went to the stables and the door slammed and locked behind her, her dad(my uncle had gone with her and he was trying to open the gates, he saw the door slam shut and went to help, they never stood a chance, their bodies were found either side of the stable doors...You dont easily recover from something like that,I remember my cousin used to dare me to touch the "electric" fence, i was always too scared, tl i found out theat they had no electric fence, her and her dad were always playing jokes..I miss them still.
>
> I will never forget that, and I really believe anyone caught deliberately satrting fires shuld be charged with attempted murder, and murder if someone is killed..
>
> this has been our wettest winter in about 5 years though, year before last we had no rain for about 8 months straight.
>
>
> Well I hope things brighten up for everyone and that you all have a good day..
>
> JV I will keep your mum in my prayers..(thats if you don't mind)
>
> well the 1st load is done , 2nd load going in, and I am going back to bed for a couple of hours!

LOL jv , my mother has a new lilac point burmese, that loves barbecue shapes, and those French fry potato chip thingys..LOL,, I even tried to see if it liked swedes,, and yep he liked swedes!

naji wont eat prawns or most cooked fish, but he loves those crumbed oven fish fillets, but I gotta take off the crumbs...and if my mum feeds him he will not eat his meal, if she puts the bowl down he refuses to eat from it, yet if anyone else puts it down he'll eat,, mainly because I have told them that they hafta tell him to "SIT" before he gets his dinner,,,so thats what they do, My mum says"he is not a dog" so she wont do it,, it is something i taught him over 11 years ago, its kinda funny, cos he does all the doggie type tricjs,, ie lie down, stay, come,up, sit, fetch....i wanted to see how trainable cats are,, and with kindness, patience and persistence they can and will do anything!!esp if he is going to get a brush after,, he loves eing brushed and when it comes to clipping his nails, he allows that , soon as he sees the nail clippers he jumps on his scratching pole and hands me his paws , no struggle at all!its quite amazing!
A home without a cat is just a house!!

Re: COMMUNITY FRIENDSHIP THREAD FOR EVERYONE

Hi everyone

Been a hectic but wonderful weekend - my reunion at Babba Fri was fun - and the party/overnight/show lots of fun too - but really dragging today lol!

Hi jvh - glad your mum still comfortable. Sorry the auction didn't bring any treasures - but you never know what the next one will bring! Have you finished the painting?

Hey libby - glad you had some fun too - dancing and out with your OH - you must be tired as well today!

Dancing thinking of you and hoping your mum is on the mend.

pjbear - good vibes your way - you have certainly had more than your fair share of downers. So sorry about Ash Wednesday such a nightmare.

Lilly glad you are feeling somewhat better - it does take a while but good to see you are heading in the right direction. Take care!

Nef a cleaning job in the interim sounds like a good idea. At least it would be a no stress job and especially good if you enjoy cleaning.

Hi scatty nice to see you!

Dame have a great lunch - and regards to mr. beam when he pops in here for a looksy!

Purple keep up the good work in having a great visit with your friend!

Have a great afternoon and waves to everyone!

Hi Miss and yes i love to go to the auctions........have had some great success in the past........i guess it all depends on the luck of the draw etc etc...........

The painting or that part of the painting is nearly done........i just have to paint the neighbour fence.......the OH hates painting will do anything else........so hes fitting the hardware for the doors..........i guess when one has a house there is always heaps and heaps of work to do:)

Dropping in quickly to say hello.
Hard day at work today, but some satisfaction.
I really would rather stay home with the cat - he's such a sook.
The look I get after a weekend at home, is like I'm abandoning him forever! As soon as I start putting on my shoes - he knows!!! (and acts accordingly;-)
Hey dame, how's the Chilli car going?
I just bought my first new car ever! My old girl was 13 years, and 380,000 km, and I'm finding it really hard to adjust to the new one - but I keep telling myself that I'm lucky to be able to afford it and it's a big improvement.
Hard to let go of the things you know. All my friends think I'm crazy not to be totally over the moon about the new car, but I miss the old one!
And I worry constantly about the new one getting scratched!:-D

Hey, Adelaide girls, can you please send the rain/hail to Wollongong - we are in need. (and don't worry - the new car is in the garage!) Hope there's no damage done, from your storms.

Re: COMMUNITY FRIENDSHIP THREAD FOR EVERYONE

Good morning to the thread:)
Had a lovely time and a nice lunch yesterday with the sibling sisters and my Mum:)
Congrats scatty on the new car:)
Chilli is doing well, and she is 10 years old but she does me:)
I much prefer to be behind the wheel of her than mr beams new subaru, as I am not the bestest driver in the world lol
I hope everyone is well, take care
God bless♥
