JV gosh its such a worry with your OH, I do really hope he starts to feel better soon. These men certainly keep us on our toes! lol

Well been on the phone to centrelink this morning, they are actually very helpful people. My carer payment/allowance is up for review. I might not be able to stay on it but won't know for a few months for sure.

Still they have been good to me. I just don't know how I will make it all work if that eventuates but its life I guess. OH is trying to see if we can get DD into school for a day or so a week. Just to give her some opportunities to socialise more, but I have a feeling the school is not real interested in disability. But will continue to try.

Other than that not much happening in our lil world.

Beanie carers are wonderful aren't they. I've had a lady pop out to give the girls some respite from us the other day. I came home to lots of smiles, they had a ball. So nice to see!

Anyway better get going bubs will be awake soon

Hi Bella and yes the doc checked and re checked the BP it has dropped a bit but still not right..........id like the doc to put the OH into John Flynn for a couple of days so that he can be monitored...........of course i was howled down by the OH..........in fact hes never been into hossie so the thought of going in for a couple of days for tests isnt sitting right....and yes you got it right about them being a handful...........hes never ever ill so nothing is sitting right with him at the moment:(

Fingers crossed re the carer/payment..........and i can relate to the schools not wanting to know or be interested in a person who has different skills.......one of the OHs grandies is trying to be placed into pre school thing so that his mother can finish her nursing degree etc..........with his dreadful allergies etc...........everyone so far has turned him down.......and its only 1 year till he starts big school so have no idea what is going to happen there:(

Hi MIss and hope all the cold /flu is gone for you..........want the OH to go into John Flynn for a couple of days to be observed...........thats gone over like a lead balloon..........men grrrrrrrrrrrrrr they all come from the same planet.........called planet obstinate.........so all i can do is watch him like a hawk........and keep my fingers crossed:)

JV hope your OH feels better soon. They are a real worry.

Well we are off to do a bit of grocery shopping today. Thank goodness we do not need much. Hate it with a passion. lol

R is still not smoking. So that is great news. He has 3 weeks left on the Champix. The lollies have gotten a good workout. But heaps cheaper than ciggies.

Lol PUrps shopping is a four letter word..........i dread the weekly to Aldi just dont sit well with crowds..............marvellous news about R...........is he feeling any better off the ciggies?

You know what stinks, they are not allowed to discriminate on the basis of disability or anything else. I could force them legally but it will mean they may be at risk as the school wouldn't ensure a duty of care. I really hope things work out for OH's grandie, its just not right.

Did the Doc send home a blood pressure machine so OH could moniter his blood pressure for a few days? They did that with OH and it helped alot.

Anyway better get going again, time to organise something eatable for tea lol

Hi we have one and i took it in to get the doc to check and make sure its ok.......

Yes the grandie has off the wall for any sort of nuts........allergies 8/10 for seafood , eggs, ........has silent asthma and severe skin allergies..........he seems to be in hossie more than hes out of hossie:(

And yes i know they are not allowed to discriminate..........which of course is correct but in the case of the grandie he has so many life threatening allergies.......that it would be very difficult to monitor him.........makes it very hard as the Mumma would so love to finish her nursing degree and continue to help people:)...life sure can be super tough

Goooooooooooood morning all and looks like an overcast and rainy day for the goldie...........winter has arrived still not cold but not a pleasant day either.

Just off to walk the hound and then taking the OH out for a drive if the weather lifts.............the OHs blood pressure getting better but still not right..........of course none of his kids have bothered to get on the phone and see how their father is:(

Have u tried hot lemon and honey maybe with a nip of rum..........very old fashioned trick but can help to give a cold the flick..........and yes not real warm in the areas you are going into but always lovely to grab a break:)

Personally there are only a very few threads that interest me........im way too busy to be bothered with people playing games:)
