Hello everyone 🙂

Good to be back, though getting no work done lately.... oh well, who cares? LOL

I am resting up from the trip, it went pretty well, my Mum is amazing and will start chemo very shortly.

I have been given three rings by Mum.... I think she intends it as a remembrance of her if she doesnt make it.... but I dont need gifts to celebrate a woman like her... she is incredible and I hope that it all works out well and she is with us for much longer.

It was good to be up there and see for myself how she is handling things, saw all my sisters, the nieces and spent heaps of time with the family. I will hopefully go again in the new year.

Miss i got him out of bed and showered and shaved him never seen him so ill..........keeping a good eye on him and hes never ill so really doesnt know whats hit him......hopefully hell feel stronger in the am

A lovely board member has indicated that pjbear is back in the hospital - sending huge ((hugs)) and get well wishes! Fingers crossed she will be out before Xmas as she hopes!

Took my mum to vote today and a shop now have to get OH re-packed and organized for the airport tomorrow. Hope everyone is enjoying their weekend!

Lol Geez dont know whats with the computer and posting..........yes hopefully the old boy will be stronger tomorrow...........hes so used to being very healthy and for me to have to lever him out of bed and shower shave him is unheard of...........hopefully he will be stronger tomorrow...

Gooooooooooooooood afternoon from a very humid Goldie..........have the OH out of bed and taking in the cricket..........at least hes no sicker thank goodness.

Lovely day up my way today and my friend is coming this afternoon:)
Ash seems to be settling as I think the meds are working:)
I am going up tomorrow to decorate his room for christmas
A gentleman up there I call pops has adopted me, thinks I am his daughter so I take him a coffee as well now and it is a bit of a dash between him and ash who gets to me first lol
Some funny things happen to me up there
As Mum says I in my usual way have adopted some of the residents (ha ha) lady named Ivy was running amok with a walker, going hell bent down the corridors into the walls and so forth so I took it off her and she slapped me lol
Tis such a sad place though in saying that, the staff are great but not enough of them:(

The OH is a lot stronger this am still not 100 percent but am bundling him into the car and heading off for his surprise for his birthday.

Stinken hot here and humid...........oh the joy of living in the tropics not lol
