I want to go camping in the September school holidays but would like to try somewhere new.
Any suggestions?

Have you ever been to Lake Barmah near Moama?
Plenty of redwood, can have dogs, fires

The iconic Seal Rocks on the NSW mid north coast.

Haven't been there - yet.
It sounds nice, will add it to the list too.

Have you been to the Grampians? Like I'm just asking
National park though no dogs, no fires

I've driven past the Grampians many a time, but not camped there yet.
When my heel is better I plan on going there. At the moment walking is difficult for me so I won't be able to explore very well.

Flinders Ranges was good might be too far though

Now this is an interesting site to find camping grounds, both C parks and free camping, just go and explore the maps

too far this time, but I put them on my bucket list when we went past them a couple of years ago.
I'm hoping that my son & I will be able to spend a year travelling around the country when he finished high school. (If he still wants to travel with Mum that is!) I plan on stopping there on my way back to the red centre.
