Can I freeze little boys?

No silly, I mean the cocktail franks.

I have lots left over from NYE. They didn't get used I.e., they have not been re-heated and have been refrigerated since purchase. Can they be frozen? I imagine they may swell and split their skins but any other problems?

I think there would be very little shelf life for them even in the fridge. I'd ditch them if I wasn't going to use them today. If you bought them before nye I wouldn't even use them today.

Maybe they're the long-life vacuum packed ones?

Well that would be ok because then they would have a use by date on them.  If it's not past the date then yes! Freeze them.

Re: Can I freeze little boys?

Cocktail sausages contain mostly preservative, artificial colouring, salt and some stuff compressed to look like meat (wouldn't contain much actual meat) ... I doubt they would go off.

Wish I could've frozen Hansom Gransom when he was a little boy. He was so sweet then.
