I kind of understand tweeting. What I want to know is, can I copy the photos from other peoples tweets and use them on a website or do I need to find the original tweeter and ask their permission?

I suggest asking Fiona Simpson if it's her photo or if she knows who the owner is then use it anyway and say you lifted it from the liverpool plains youth facebook group page that you shared info about. It was tweeted by Fiona Simpson, president of NSW Farmers which was retweeted 23 times. It looks like someone has given permission for it to be used.
If you are Fiona please forget all that ^^^^ 😄

Ah, for business use you'd better seek permission. On activists or educational sites maybe it's not so important. 😄

That photo has been tweeted by this user but I don't know if it is theirs.

lol, no I'm not Fiona, although she lives close by and is an amazing lady. She's also President of the NSW Farmers assoc
How did you come to the conclusion it was her picture and not say Rosemary Nankivell's who has also tweeted it?
Edit: oops, was looking at photos and missed Joonos post. But yeah, how would you know whether it was Rosemarys or Fiona's?

You could try sending them a private message and if it's theirs, ask for permission to use it.

yeah, I guess so. I don't want to bother either of those ladies though, I know how busy they are with this Shenhua business, plus it's time to water the cotton crops and Fi also has her Presidential duties.
thanks

No, I didn't conclude it was hers but her tweet was retweeted a few more times and because of her position I thought she might know who owned it. Her bio says she is President of the Farmers Association.

You can send her a msg on twitter if she follows you, or maybe ask by a comment on the photo on the facebook page if any knows who owns it.
