Clearly the one day I was unable to spend any time here and he's come back from his week away and done or said something additionally stupid and/or hurtful.

I get that he spent time with her, and I get that you've taken the decision not to tell her partner. Is that everything?

I went rummaging around on the Surviving Infidelity site Cat and there seems to be a consensus there that the skank's partner should be told. When I realised that I realised that I probably would not have told, but then probably for the wrong reasons and I'm probably an idiot. Why did you decide that Miss Cat?

I've thought it through and have decided there is no point in telling the skanks husband because Mr Ex and I are not reconciling. I don't want anything to do with their sordid affair and would rather focus on myself and getting away from the both of them. What will be will be and if Mr Cheated Upon wants to know what his wife has been up to behind his back then it's his business to make it his business. Many people know about it (country town secrets don't stay secret for very long).. these affairs end up being exposed in due time.

Let Mr Ex and his skank dig their own graves. I'm not going to help them out.
