Now Somaliland is upset.......there are these flags flying all over the world with knicker shaped cut-outs in the orange sections.........United Nations has called an emergency meeting!!

And the Reverend Ian Paisley (Google is your friend) must be turning in his grave! :^O

You are allowed to be angry, Cat.

You are doing so well, we all are so proud of you!

Re: Cat_mioux's new home

While things may be falling into place for him Cat, you can bet your orange knickers that in another time and another place he will be in the exact same situation. He will have learnt absolutely nothing.

You on the other hand will be on a completely different plane to him.

Doesnt matter what he does for a job, or where he lives, he will never be able to run away from himself.

I live by the motto,

It's not about the destination, it's about the journey.

That's what I've told him today. But he just sits back looking pleased with himself.

Thanks for reminding me of the above. I so need to hear all your wisdom at the moment. Thank God I have to go to work today.

Re: Cat_mioux's new home

So sorry that you are going through all this, remember
what doesn't kill us only makes us stronger.

So he will not be moving out till March and
does he have a new job so he can support himself?

Could he move in with his family now, seeing that they are helping him with finding a place to rent ?

The sooner he his gone, the better it will be for yourself and you will be able to start moving forward.

Re: Cat_mioux's new home

Hi

Heard him on the phone .. his family have organised a rental in his home town. Possibly ready March. He has given notice at work . Had a huge arguement. He keeps saying the affair 'just happened'. I said "nothing just happens! You made it happen".

I hate it that everything seems to be falling into place for him. Everyone runs after him and sorts his life out for him.

Sweetheart, his family are looking after him because he isn't capable of doing it for himself - quite frankly I don't think he could organize the proverbial p*ss-up in a brewery.
You, on the other hand, don't need anyone to do your thinking and organising for you. You are more than capable of doing it for yourself. It will be tough, but at least you won't be the one sitting in misery six months down the track wondering why you made such a monumental stuff-up of your life.

You are so right :^O

I've asked if he could go live with his family now but he doesn't want to. He wants his 'new' house all set up ready for him to just move in. ๐Ÿ˜

He's taking the lounge suite, coffee table, lawn mower, tools .. I don't have any money to buy these things, seeing as paying all the rent will take up most of my wage.

Oh shoot - but then why worry about those things now. I just have to concern myself with getting through today.

dont be angry at him, he sounds pathetic. anger uses too much energy and gives him satisfaction as he sees a reaction.

I want to scream at him - of course your family will need to help you - Everyone knows you are useless, its not a secret

Re: Cat_mioux's new home

Hi Cat, don't even worry about the material things he takes. When my ex packed up my personal stuff but nothing else to help me out, even though I was the one who had to find somewhere else to live, I had a bed, tv and lounge suite and my new rental property was very bare! I eventually bought things from garage sales, newspapers etc and now I have the place set up with everything I need.

It actually gives you great satisfaction down the track to know that you have done this all on your own. In fact now that the ex's younger model turned his life to carp, he has asked me why I didn't beg to stay ! Sure I was going to beg - even though it broke my heart for a long time I'm damned sure I will never beg to stay with me when they've been unfaithful.

I couldn't even remember what being "happy" was through a long very dark period, but boy has my life changed down the track. Even though it will always hurt a bit, my social life is fantastic, still see all "our" old friends (he dropped everyone when the youngie came on the scene), have met wonderful new people, and have ended up financially better off than when I was with him.

Thinking of you every day Cat and your long time friends on the board are a credit to you. xx

Yep worry about today, the other things will happen when the time is right.

Ask your friends if they have any left over furniture, or ask them to keep their ears open for any selling really cheap.
