I'm afraid of sleeping alone but then I realised today that's just a perception of my mind and I can train my mind to feel totally safe and secure through chanting.
I'm counting down the days .. he's shirty with me again. He also seems to be increasing his contact with Skanky Ho. Maybe he's peeved at me because I told him his 'special lady' is using him. Oh dear I spoke against the love of his life - who isn't leaving her husband. Don't know about you but how can you have a fulfilling relationship when your 'lover' logs off FB and goes off to sleep with their husband. ๐
I'm not talking about this to him anymore, so can I vent in here? Fanks ๐ |
I was scared to sleep alone too and used to cajole the kids into having 'sleep overs with me. It was the worst part of him going. Now I love having the bed to myself. I had a small tv in my room with a sleep timer and I used to leave it going with the timer set so it would turn itself off once I was asleep. To this day I sometimes have to have the ipod on when I go to sleep. Having someone to spoon is one of life's simple gifts and I miss it.
As for them having a meaningful relationship....don't lose sleep over it. The dud my ex ended up with has been hanging around for years chasing him. (like I said, long story) She hung around whilst he fell in love with skank number one ( his mates wife), who he professed to be in love with. She was a good friend to him during that relationship breakdown and she did exactly the same thing as your ex is doing.....she hung around when he came back to me to try and give our marriage another go. Too bad she never kept her beak right our of lives and gave us a fair go. But she too hung around happy with little visits to our business to see him, texts, emails, him calling into her house for coffees...what ever else they had going on whilst he tried (that's a joke) to stay married to me.
They have no shame and it made me think of this little gem this morning which I will share.
Don't waste a second of time being angry or hating them because every time you do it's a second that you've robbed of yourself that you could spend on making yourself happy. Giving into negative feelings for them just perpetuates them winning. Every day I struggle not to let them win. It's damn hard, coz I'm bloody angry....still after 2 1/2 years, but I figure if I keep trying to live by that positive belief everyday then each day it will get a little easier to forget them and concentrate solely on me.
