Re: Cat_mioux's new home

Yep what is he doing on his first day of his 9 day 'stress' leave?

WHAT HE ALWAYS DOES!

Beached on the sofa listening to the TV with his face glued to FB on his laptop.

OH GIVE ME STRENGTH

What about MY stress levels which are going through the roof.

Anyway - I told him anything he leaves here after the 19th gets tossed or I charge him storage fees. He said he was getting a bigger trailer :^O

sorry, I am replying as I read.

Even HIM taking stress leave is an insult to you. grrr

Re: Cat_mioux's new home

I am betting he is not actually on 'stress' leave, he has either lied about his resignation date, or they put him off because he was useless to them. The 'stress leave' is probably more emotive bunkum!

Re: Cat_mioux's new home

Cat, does Skankyho live in the town he is moving to?

In regards to not telling her husband. I know this has been done to death but just want to say my opinion.

I feel he should be told. Why the hell should you be copping all the grief and little miss perfect nothing. I would love to see her selfish world turned upside down. Does she have kids?

I get the impression Ex would not physcially harm you? I would let him be pooed off, and give him real reason to be on Stress leave.

if she does live in his home town, he might get himself a nice welcome back from the hubby. You can only hope!

Re: Cat_mioux's new home

piggylulu Yep a nob! Big time.

Oh he's just stomped upstairs to bed and slammed his door. Thank God!

The kitties were so naughty tonight. While we were fighting little Beau the deaf kitty decided to scratch the shirt out of Mr Ex's sofa. Mr Ex yelled (oh hello .. he's deaf yer nob head) but Beau defiantly stood there on the arm of the sofa and stared and snuffled at him. Then Pene started shredding the sofa. Sure I got yelled at (like I can control cats) but it was worth seeing his face when 'little baby scared of shadows and the wind' Beau stared him down. :^O

I am only half way through catching up on the posts Mioux, but I soooo love the cat's attitude!!!!!!!!

Good onya Pene ♥

And Beau you are a TOTALLY MAGIC kitten!!!!!. :-x You deserve the

Re: Cat_mioux's new home

Hey all! (( HUGS ALL ROUND ))

Wow this place has been busy, hu!?

Cat, I love that you've kept your sense of humour! You are a funny woman, even at trying times like this. I find that sometimes you just got to laugh. I mean really sometimes there is alota sheet going on and not a whole lot we (normal peeps) can do about it - but just chuckle to ourselves.

Yes you can do this. Simple. We all know you can. We are right behind you. :-x

I totally understand what you were saying about the sentimental item you ripped up (that you had bought together). But it is still just a 'thing', whatever it was. Something that doesn't have any emotional attachment until we attach emotions to it. Memories will always be with you.

I try not to be attached to 'things' either. I mean they aren't going to last forever, we will be seperated eventually. Those 'things' are not who we are. They never will be. Of course, we are all so much more than the things we have.

Look at all the fab peeps here! We really don't know who has fancy do dads at home, a BMW, sheet loads of money, lights surrounding the pool! etc. But that doesn't matter here. And there sure are some wonderful caring (and so very wise) people here. That is what I think matters. JMO.

(( HUGS TO ALL THOSE WHO ARE DOING IT ROUGH TODAY )):-x

Okay so maybe The Universe decided having him around 24/7 for the last week will make me dance with joy the day he moves out instead of bawling?

Yep that's it right there honey:-x

Imagine this.....in the morning, nine days from now, you will wake up and the whole vibe in your house will have changed.

It will feel quiet, peaceful and safe. Your furbabies will be there, but when you walk into the lounge room, it will be all yours. Glorious wonderful space, to fill entirely with your energy.

You will not have to dodge a blob on the sofa, tapping away on his lappy. The house may be a little empty, but that's fine, gradually you will fill it with your stuff.

Now, you will go and make a coffee (or herb tea or whatever) and you will sit enjoying the very first day of tranquility you have had for a long time.

Sounds good hey?

Oh and, make sure you fill the gaps in places like the bathroom cupboard and wardrobes immediately, by just spreading your stuff out.

Re: Cat_mioux's new home

My heart felt hugs to all the ladies who are going/have gone through losing the person they thought was the love of their life – expecially Mioux.:-x In retrospect I was lucky, OH and I broke up not long after he had served in Vietnam.

So I had already spent a year alone, being spat on at the local supermarket, asked how could have fun at a New Year’s Eve party while my husband was in ‘Nam killing innocent woman and children etc. etc. All the time worrying myself witless that he would be killed.:_|

It helped to toughen me up, so I coped with his infidelity much better than I would have without the cruelty I had already endured. It’s funny, I can forget what OH did, but even after 40+ years I can’t forget what those women said and did.

So it is extra special to me to see us all gathering around our Sisters and trying to help take the pain away.

Luv ya lots Sisters where every you may be, and thank you for helping me think I can trust you again. :-x
