You have been far too strong to take a chance at stumbling now.
Personally I think it is too soon to meet with Mr Ex and cancel all the healing that you have been doing so far.

But of course, your choice, your life, and only you know what is the right course of action FOR YOU (and please don't even take Mr Ex's considerations into account to make that decision).

Your last few posts have mentioned you feel sympathy for him - don't be tricked into taking him back because you feel sorry for him. Only take him back if you miss the man he is.

Trust is vital in a relationship, and a relationship without trust is miserable.

My daughter agrees with you all, Erica, annie, koko and buzz. :-x

She also agrees it would be too soon to see him. We came to an agreement.

If he texts or phones to ask if he can visit me my best response is no response or to just say no. But if he turns up at the doorstep without warning I will let him in and listen to what he has to say but to keep in mind he will try to manipulate me in to taking him back. It's way too soon for him to have 'got it'. All he'll be thinking of is himself.

I have no intention of taking of him back but I am curious about what he has to say.

The problem is, whatever he tells you, you are not going to be able to trust that it is the truth - and that's going to make you feel bad because you are going to want to believe him.

I know. 😞 How can I ever believe anything he says. But from closely observing him the last 2 months I got pretty good at telling the difference between a lie and a truth.
