Hugs for all who need them.
Chuk, at least you seem to be seeing things very clearly. The choice to stay or go will always be yours and whichever choice you ultimately make I can confidently assure you it will be the right one.
I do hope the news is good for your mum.

Freddie enjoy your break - it will give you the strength to pick up the load again when you return.
My next door neighbour was supposed to be dead from prostrate cancer twelve months ago. They are treating him with experimental drugs and although he is slowly going down hill, he still has a good quality of life, an interest in everything around him and a wicked sense of humour. He knows - as I'm sure your brother does - that every day is precious and he is living each one to the full.

Re: Cat_mioux's new home

Hi all ๐Ÿ™‚

Hugs for those that need them. :-x

I'm feeling a little down. I shouldn't be but I am. I've been sleeping in till 11am. I used to enjoy getting up to speak to Mr Ex (he was an early riser). Now I get up to an empty house. I'm just feeling lonely for a 'mate'. I'm rarely alone for a whole day so at least I know I have work or friends or family dropping in on my days off but the loneliest time is when I first wake up. As Mr Ex said "you're not the type of person to live on your own".

Pity party over.

One foot in front of the other.

Re: Cat_mioux's new home

Loneliness is a terrible emotion. Try and find little things to keep yourself busy and keep your mind occupied like tidying a cupboard or a draw.
MY goal for this year is to learn guitar. I bought a cheapie from Aldi a long while ago and last weekend my young ex neighbour ( I used to call him my other child) came around to restring and tune it for me so it's all set to go.
Cross your fingers for me. I've never played an instrument before but I'm willing to give it a bash and see how it goes.

Re: Cat_mioux's new home

Good for you cyn, lucky it's not me with a guitar, I'd probably unstring it and wrap it around my cheating, lying ex's neck !]:)

Re: Cat_mioux's new home

Why waste a good guitar?
I am genuinely over my ex. He is a wayne ker and I've accepted that and moved on.
The person he is now isn't the one I fell in love with. Not sure where he went or what happened to him but I can say in all honesty that skanky ho cyn version didn't get that man. She's got some other dud.

Cyn if your fingers get sore, Iif you have steel strings) soak them in Metho, it will toughen them up. Good luck, a guitar is so much fun.
