Please send some positive thoughts to my dad tonight. He's in QLD and I was told by my brother in WA that he has just been taken to hospital with a suspected heart attack. I'm not sure what to do. He's 77

Perhaps wait to hear from the hospital first. It may not be a heart attack. You can always make plans to go up to QLD while you are waiting, just in case.

But then she'd accuse you being overly dramatic.

I think at 14 they are still not sure what to do or say during times like these and end up coming out with the most stoopid things. She'll grow of it.
