Re: Cat_mioux's new home

Good Morning lovelies..... ♥

It's one of those mixed emotions days for me today, it wouldve been my late husbands 40th bday today. Kids and I have been chatting about it, they want to release some balloons this afternoon, so I will make sure I grab some helium ones in red & white (St George Dragons colours) during the day.

I really hope I dont have this baby today, cos that would be really emotionally stressful- for us all!

AT least I have the day off work! Mr 12 has his High School orientation today and thankfully he's feeling better after a week of illness. I have to go for an Assembly, then fork out over $1200 in advance for fee's etc

Once Ive done my "parental" duties, he stays til 2:30pm, and Im off to have a maternity photo shoot (the ones of just the belly!) Im really looking forward to that!

Have a lovely day peeps.... ♥

sounds like youve got another busy day ahead kylie:-x take it easy and will be thinking of those balloons being set free..Also,good to read your son is feeling a whole lot better-a big day in store for him too-good luck to him!

I am off to retailworld-Im right with you cj..re this time of year, and thanks for the support ms Cat:-x-often people dont realise that you are there to do the same job you do the rest of the year..and if they are stressed because they left things to the last moment,or because they are tired or overwhelmed they are not entitled to take it out on retailworld staff. Just my thoughts, but I choose not to get involved with your stresses Mrs Mcgillicuddy!!:-)

Have a great day and try to take a moment and focus on something inspiring and beautiful-promise youll feel better for it :-x

Re: Cat_mioux's new home

Hi wonderful amazing women!

dtrh! There you are! I'm so happy you are back. I'm glad the break from screens has recharged your batteries and you sound ready to create your best in 2012. That's my girl! :-x

Mrs Braff higs and hugs to you! I hope all is well.

Kylie darling thinking of you today ((hugss)). Why the colours of St George for the helium balloons, if it's personal and you don't want to tell us I completely understand ♥. Is it because your late beloved husband was British?

I should have taken my own advice about dealing with the Mrs Mcgillicuddy's of the world :^O I had the most irritating woman on the phone, one of those fussy ones thinking her requirements are sooooo important she needed to keep me on the phone asking ridiculous questions that any fool with common sense would already know.

I got snippy I admit and then of course the inevitable happened because people like her always progress to "I want to speak to your manager about your lack of customer skills".

I spelt my name to her .. "that's Cat Mioux C A T  M I O U X".

I stood there while my poor manager spoke to her blah blah blah. Afterwards he gave me a wink and said  "Cat apparently you must improve your customer service skills and btw she was irritating!"  I don't know if he's obliged to report it. I know other staff members receive a written warning when a customer makes a complaint against them.

Grrrrrrrr ... X-( must NOT buy into it must NOT buy into it ...

I cancelled Beau's appointment with the vet today. I've put my back out (ouch) and emotionally I can't cope with him being away all day. It's way too traumatic getting him into his cat carrier on my own. I've rebooked for next week once my DD is home.

I'm going to try to hobble to Spotlight today 😄

Hugs to all and those MIA ♥♥

I Had a busy day even though I didnt work!!!

Went from the school, to the photo sesh, grab some lunch, back to the school, spotlight for balloons, small rest then out to soccer.... which we got drenched at, and I pulled Mr 12 and insisted we leave and not play in the 2nd game- I sooo dont need him in hospital with pnumonia!! Coach didnt let him on the field much as he was struggling, so no probs with us leaving, thnakfully Mr 12 didnt even fuss as he was feeling ill again after such a huge day!

The "St George" Dragons were my late husbands fave NRL Football team, and also his fave colour was red. My son has a framed signed jersey on his wall that belonged to his dad- very special! We like to buy balloons in those colours to release.

We did it at the field as son loves his soccer so much!

When I have a chance at work tomorrow I will  share a pic from my photo session today, they turned out really nice!

Evening all you wise ones, higs and hugs to all..might need one myself!

Just to give some warning..I am about to vent.

Have returned from retailworld and-sigh-sometimes it really does seem like a battle.I read your comments ms Cat:-x about your manager and that ahem irritating woman with interest..My boss is my senior staff member, the guy with his name on the business,on the door and on the label and the person who has my back.He knows what kind of person I am,and what kind of job I do-he wouldnt be leaving me in charge of his flagship store, send me interstate and overseas to sell the collection and employ and train others, if he didnt trust me implicity..and so to today.I received a phone call and hes had a complaint,in email, full of lies about what I said to someone instore. He said he needed to let me know about it and asked for my side of the story..I relayed what I could remember(it was weeks ago now)and I hadnt heard what had been writtn, but now he has sent the email to me.:OI cannot believe the lies this person has written about our shared experience instore. When I read it,I was really upset, angry and feeling impotent..Im trying to understand why this person feels they have the right to invent lies and then spread them, and yet thats not the point.

My boss said he didnt believe a word this person said, and he made the observation that this person quoted me and it didnt even sound like me..Which reminded me of your manager ms Cat-sometimes we realise that we have support in places and in in quantities weve never thought about..and that can be a good thing to stop and take note of..

(btw-my partner read the email and said-'Seriously?This woman needs therapy.Who goes on and on like that?If theres a problem, deal with it at the time-dont be a liar or be passive aggressive about it.And you are not to buy into it,not at all.Dont reread it,erase it now.Its like the worst type of spam..full of cr*p!'well,it made me laugh :^O

Thanks for letting me vent, promise I will let it go-well,try anyway!

thinking of the one that has moved or is busy unpacking,,I miss reading your thoughtful, kind and funny posts and hope you are well, but wish you could come back..selfish I am:-)

take good care of your back ms Cat-have a good nights rest all :-x
