Glday folks ~~~
Higs and hugs to you all.
Kylie, I didn't comment on your tummy photos. What a lovely record they are for you.
Did you see my link for you in a previous post?
Here it is again - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=43_VKXImks8

(available on iTunes on Friday)
dtrh ^^^^^^^^^ there it is.
rosieglen - thank you so much for your tips about the font. It works a treat. (I had to test it out 😉 )
MsCat - whoop whoop whoop. Countdown in hours now, not months or weeks. 😄
MY orange knickers story..............
1st the bad bit. X-(
I am sick and tired of them disapearing out of my drawer and onto Missy's bottom, and then she denies taking them. 😞
I'm sorry, but MrBraff has his own orange knickers. Anyway, I bought myself some new ones today and heaven help if she goes anywhere near them.
Rest of the story.......
Do you remember me telling you about my friend whose son was involved in a stabbing incident early October?
I won't go into detail but she has had the worst 3 or 4 years starting with her hubz being diagnosed with early onset dementia. He passed away nearly 2 years ago and it has been downhill with various things.
On Friday she has an awful day to get through. I am going with her to 'hold her up'. She sent me a text yesterday saying how scared she is and grateful I am going with her etc. We were sending texts back and forth and then I said to her 'buy yourself some orange knickers and make sure you wear them on Friday. I will be wearing mine.' I actually said buy some orange nix and wear them...She wane3d to know what otange nix were so I told her orange knickers. The usual question - why? I told her they will give her empowerment and help her through the day. I then sent her a link I found on the poot. She thanked me for the link.
I reeived a text message again a couple of hours later telling me she had bought the knickers, she was going to wear them on Friday and she felt better having done something positive. :-x
So there is my orange knickers story.
May I please ask if some of you could wear orange knickers on Friday too as moral support for my friend?
Cyn, nice to see you again.
Hi MIA ~~~~~ 🙂

Friday will definitely be OK day here - will think of your friend, Braff.
Hope everyone has had a good day - I saw my specialist today and instead of telling me I needed carotid artery surgery as i feared, he is so pleased with me I dont have to see him for two years. One less worry!

Thanks Rosie.
Good to hear that your results were good today.
I had some bad/scary news. It could be nothing and apparently a small percentage of the population have it but I had never heard of it.
I had an eye examination today to take advantage of the heath care rebates before the end of the year and they used this smancy fancy machine that takes photos of inside your eyes. My left eye was fine but my right eye has a large choroidal nevus which looks like a bruise right across my eye below the retina. I have had to make an appointment with an eye specialist. I see him next month. In a very small number of cases this thing can turn into a melanoma. Don't forget that this is INSIDE the eye. 😞
I think that will be an orange wearing knickers day for me.
If you want to see what a choroidal nevus is google it . The site I went to was the first one (Eye Cancer Network). My one is about 3 times the size of the one in the photo.

Braff...... thanks for the song, it's really beautiful! ♥
Goodluck with your eyes hun, you may remember my hubby had a cornea transplant earlier this year, it's a long receovery and not over with yet. Thank goodness his condition isnt heriditery.
Unlike my worry about my kids future with their dad dying from Melanoma, their chances of getting it are very much higher, it is a brutal disease.

Hi hi hi everyone!
Mrs Braff I will be wearing my Orange Knickers for your friend on Friday. It's wonderful to know we are spreading the 'word'. It is a symbol of solidarity, knowing we have the support and strength of other women behind (pun not intended!) us.
Try not worry about your eye. The operative words are "a very small chance". :-x
Rosie - good news! That's two years of not having to worry about it!
Cyn - you told me to hang on and if I couldn't do it by myself I could hang on to you guys and you'd pull me out. You and this thread means so much to me.
I found his emails to her (I had printed two of them) and I read them. As I read them I shook my head and laughed. They were so deluded. I wonder if both of them have learned anything? I don't know. But I know I have grown tremendously since this time last year.
Anyway ... my Sally and J are on the 3rd leg of the journey home - on a flight to Sydney. It's like tracking Santa and I get the best present ever! My darling girl with her long skinny arms and watching her snuggle in a pair of my old trackies, on the sofa surrounded by the kitties, asking "Muuuuum can you make me a hot chocolate and some cookies pleeeease". And J with his cute Brit accent and mop of hair, his vulnerableness being a Londoner finding himself having to deal with spiders and the heat and bogan Aussies ... :^O
Less than 24 hours to go!
Hugs to all! ♥♥♥

Thanks for the link Braff :-x Beautiful
Thinking of you and your Friend this Friday, and of course news about your eye, Try not to worry until more tests are done. Easier said than done I know :-x
Love you bump pics Kylie. It's getting very exciting now with only a few short weeks (if that) before you meet your new bundle :-x
How exciting for Miss Cat with young Sally and J nearly at your doorstep. :-x
Higs and hugs to all the OKers.
Retailworld is really irritating atm. The staff are awful. X-( Snobs the lot of them. How do I know if we sell Electric Carving knives if not a single person is there to ask (they're all at lunch together) and I don;t have access to look it up on the computer X-( I'm losing my confidence that was so high last week.
Vent over sorry. Anyway, off to work for the 11 day in a row. I can't say my affirmations about getting lots of shifts didn't work B-)
Have a great day all :-x

Jacks 11 days of work in a row?! 😮
It sounds like the staff have a clique going. 😞 I hate those cliques. There was one at my work place, led by the bully. They'd always be outside having a laugh and gossiping while I was inside working my butt off. But all cliques have a short life span. Hang in there.
12 hours to go .... I'm so excited!
Have a wonderful day and remember .. it will all be more than ok.
Winter always turns to spring.
