Mr Elephant and I returned home yesterday after a hectic but very happy Christmas surrounded by lots of family, lots of food and a fair bit of champagne. It was a very special, loving, family occasion and I feel very blessed.

I'm glad to see most of you managed to enjoy yourselves, Braff - I hope Mr Braff is currntly sitting in the doghouse and feeling very remorseful.

Cat, I am so glad Ava is doing OK We now have to concentrate all our thoughts and prayers on Sally that she will surprise everyone with a speedy recovery.:-x

What a journey this year has been for you - and all of us who have walked it with you - and how much we have all learned from it. I think your strength and the strength we have given to each other has made better people of us all and given us the confidence to face the coming year with hope and high expectations.

Kylie, glad to see you made it through Christmas - a New Year's present would be nice.

Oh Braff, been there, done that, got the scars to prove it. When my lot were teenagers I used to do my grocery shopping on a Monday, because if I'd done it on Friday all the mates they brought home at weekends would have cleaned out the fridge by Sunday night. :^O

Won't be long now Kylie.

All my little grandies are in Tassie for Christmas and I'm in Canberra so it's a bit sad. I missing them all.

But it's a bit exciting because I am thinking about renting a shop for my Drop your Jeans and Embroidery Service. In Smithton.

Taking a big risk because I will have limited budget. But I have 50 hours a week to put in and I have the most of the equipment and fabrics that I need and there seems to be a market for the Embroidery, logos and names in particular.

I had actually dropped the whole idea by the wayside then I found the trademark certificate, then the girls sent me to the soon to be closed shop. So...... I think I have a plan.   😄

Do you want to be in Australia :-x or overseas?  What will the weather be at this time of year etc.
