Apologies for not being in here of late.

No real excuse other than not on the computer much.

I actually sent a text message to Alicia's hubby this morning to find out what was happening with her because I hadn't had an update for a few days.

His reply didn't really say much, but I was able to find out that she is no longer in ICU and that she is not eating much and that she feels sick in the stomach.  He feels that her brain is OK though so that is fantastic.  🙂

MsCat, I will have my Orange Toosdee panties ready for Freedom Day on Sunday. I am sure that along with your chanting that when you get past Sunday your health and wellbeing will be so much better.

Excellent news Braff :-x Hopefully Alicia will be back at home before too long.

I'm at work today and excited about James jumping tomorrow. How appropriate for Freedom day 🙂 I have arranged to have some of my family attend to support him.

MsCat, my orange knickers are washed and ready for tomorrow.

So jealous of Master James Crazy, Jacks.  I hope he has a wonderful time.

An update on Alicia:

She has a tummy bug and thrush in the mouth (from having had the feeding tube for so long.)

She has had some more head scans and the Neurologist seems happy with them.

When she leaves hospital she will go straight to a Rehab facility but there is no date for that to happen yet.

4 weeks ago on Monday all this started happening..  The outcome could have been so much worse, but she still has a long way to go.

It's a time of looking towards an improved life, the turning of the page, of new things coming our way and excitement about the wonderful future. Braff, thanks for the update on Alicia. The poor girl is such a strong one. I'm glad to hear she is making progress even if there are steps back from time to time. Baby steps are good. :-x

It really is FREEDOM DAY and a great day to wear the orange knickers.

Tears are good.  Get them out, and then go and lift your skirt, drop your jeans whatever you have on and admire those orange knickers and what they stand for.  😉
