PS I bought a coat online last night. A bright red one with a hood! My DD then said "now promise me when it arrives you'll throw away Mr Ex's coat that you wear!".  I promised. I took to wearing Mr Ex's coat a couple of years ago because I lost mine in the UK. I must admit I did feel some sense of comfort wearing it for some strange reason but I don't need it anymore.

Yay me! I got a little teary when I thought about throwing it out. How weird. I guess letting go is a gradual process. I thought I had but obviously there is still that last thread ....

But watching bids on the "man stuff" I threw on ebay is making me happy 😄

I've finally got around to colouring my hair. I thought it was dark blonde but it says Light Brown. It looks dark blonde on the box. Doh! 😐

8 mins to go until I can wash it out.

My son's coming over for dinner and I bought chicken (free range of course lol) to cook for the two meat eaters in the family.

But last night I dreamt I was stirring a big pot with meat that looked like poultry and thinking I was cooking the children!

Sheesh! Do I really equate cooking meat with cooking my own children?  😮

I hope the kids appreciate the trauma I'm going through to cook them a hearty meat meal for a change!

I was very good this year - just bought a 4 pack of ferrero Rochers each for myself and Mr elephant. We ate them with our lunch. I do have some very sinful little chocolate puddings watiting in the fridge for dessert toinght, though.:^O

Lucy is doing really well, thanks, she has lost some weight, but she was overweight anyway, and has been eating, which is a relief..... when Lucy doesn't eat..... Lucy must be sick!
