Blacksheepy I'm so happy you have decided to join me in manifesting! It's so much fun. You intend it, be grateful for it, then let it go and let The Universe manage it for you. The last part is where I have some difficulty .. letting go. I'm always catching myself imagining the how's when the how is The Universe's work. Not mine.

Yep I have trouble with the last bit too (the letting it go and having faith that it will arrive in good time etc).  Guess that is the control freak in me trying to jump in and take care of stuff.

Yeh I know what you mean about desires.  I think today so many people are reliant on aquiring things to be happy.  But then again, it is nice to allow yourself to desire something, although knowing that it's really not the end of the world IF you don't get that something.  (Anyway, there might be a more special, betterer something heading for you in the future!) 

Thankyou for your good wishes for Mum's op on Friday.  :-x  It's getting closer and I'm finding myself getting a smidge more concerned by each day.  I'm trying to not think about what 'could' happen (of course I dont want to manifest that) so I'm imagining this experience being much easier and drama free (!) than we expected.  Although it was a bit worrying when Mum gave me all her paperwork and important info for me to deal with "if the time comes".  Now I know this was a sensible thing to do, but not something that I like to think about.  So I've put them all in the filing cabinet, locked it, good bye!

Am thinking I need some serious meditation time today.  I also feel that I need to allow the universe to send me messages that I need to hear - especially today.  So that's what I'm planning on doing.  Being quiet and pay attention.

Think going to high tea might be fun too!!!   * little finger up in the air (practising!) *  Although I doubt that is where I will find myself today!

 The one I went to was buffet style - sandwiches, savoury pastries, cakes and tarts, as many as you could eat and all dainty and bitesized, plus small glasses of mousses and trifles and waiters doing the rounds with tea, coffee and champagne.

Hi everyone!

It's funny how the law of attraction works! On Sunday night I dropped into the supermarket after work to buy dinner for me and Miss Kitty for the following evening. I had actually intended to buy M&M's and Malteasers. I stood there with a packet of Malteasers in my hand but I thought 'nah I don't need to buy them' so I put them back on the shelves.

Last night Miss Kitty came over. She said she had a feeling to drop into a servo on the way here to buy ... wait for it ...  M&M's and Malteasers! So there they were .. what I had intended to buy.

I know I intended a Cherry Ripe, but I actually manifested the chocolate I had intended to buy.

So I'm ticking that one and feeling very grateful! Sometimes The Universe manifests the essence of your desire rather than the specific thing. Chocolate is chocolate  😄

Blacksheepy I hope you are having a quiet peaceful meditative day today. You so absolutely understand this law of attraction stuff! Sending lots of love and best wishes to you and your mum for Friday and afterwards for a speedy and full recovery. Wow!

A couple of hours ago I opened the dishwasher and the latch got stuck on open and I couldn't close the door. I googled but the thought of sticking screwdrivers into certain orifaces didn't appeal to me.

I didn't want to call the RE, yet again, because the Landlord has cracked it over having to fix so many things lately i.e wire burnt behind fuse box resulting in no electricity, hose leaked in dishwasher, possums in the roof (broken tile), pool pump and just 2 weeks ago .. the heating broke.

I tried a gentle pressure with a screwdriver, I tried wriggling the latch, I tried forcing it .. nada.

Then I remembered the Buddhist motto 'Don't just do something, sit there and chant'.

So I sat down and began chanting and visualised the dishwasher door closing properly. I started to relax after a few minutes then that little inner voice said "try it now". I got up and tried shutting the dishwasher door and it just clicked and released and voila all fixed!

I broke my washing machine. The plastic drum cracked.

I dont think any amount if chanting is going to fix the large crack.

When I "fixed" the dishwasher I said out loud "at least I'm not breaking any of my stuff" :^O  Then I put a load of washing on.

😐

Now if only this law of attraction stuff would work for millions of $ and a cute guy.

Off to buy a new second hand washing machine. :_|
