Good luck with your new job Blacksheep and congrats :-x
Congrats to Braff too on winning a holiday. How awesome is that?
Cat..your slumber party sounds delightful :-x
Another major day for me. I'm heading down to meet with the cemetery people to order mum's plaque. This will take another 8 weeks to be made. Mum was so organised that she has already picked out her design and colour marble. I need to decide on the inscription. *sigh*
I can't believe mum's flowers are still going albeit a little wilted.
Have a great day OKers and happy hair dying girls 🙂

Hi lovelies...
Lots going on in peoples lives, Im at work right now but really wish I was home with my baby girl! I love Thurs & Fri when I can spend quality time with her! ♥
Im having a really tough time with hubs. He's doing that jealousy thing that men sometimes do when a new baby arrives!??!
Its really p'ing me off cos we have such busy lives I dont need this.
I know the obvious answer is to schedule some "alone" time, but to be honest, he's been such an a'hole to me & the kids that I have little interest in spending time with him like that!
Im going to sit down this wekend for a serious talk but I know he will jack up cos he has this ego that he just wont conform to the needs of the family/household over his own....
*sigh*

Jacks do you have someone to go with you today? it's so hard having to make these decisions, it just sometimes feels so surreal. Be kind to yourself. I wish there was something I could do to help in any way. I know you still have all the sorting out to do as well. Would you be able to plan a weekend away later down the track?
Kylie tell your hubby from me to grow up! X-( Of course you don't want to spend time with him while he's acting like a sooky kid. If only they knew that if they did something special like run a bubble bath for you with candles and said "i'll look after the kids for the next 2 hours, you just relax honey because you deserve it" we'd find them the most sexiest man on earth. lol
Hugs to everyone and have a fabulous day!

Cat, my cousin came along and helped a great deal.
I emailed my brother to check with him if he was happy with it.
He replied "I think it's lovely, good job".
I think it is lovely too.
Kylie, I agree with Cat bout hubby. If he helped more with housework and looking after the kids, you'd have more time for him. Good luck with your talk with him.

I'm glad your brother has come on board to be supportive Jacks. It helps a lot to have that confirmation. It's not like you plan funerals every day and know what to do.
I had to organise my mum's funeral too, I was lucky I had my sisters but we were all a bit dazed during it all. I remember having to choose a coffin. Two of us braved the "back room" at the funeral home. I think we just pointed to one.

I'm bursting with mama proudness :-x
Miss Kitty has been "head hunted" by a very large and well known events business. They have even told her to name her salary.
Remember when she was studying events & tourism a few years ago and won a very prestigious award? She's come a long way in such a short time.

Hello folks ~~~~~~~
A bit has been happening so here goes.....
(Memory test happening right now..................)
Blacksheepy, good luck with your new job. I am sure it won't take you long to pick up on their way of doing things.
Stay strong with the vending machine and Yay for casual Friday. 😄
I hope your Mum is still improving.
Kylie, Men get like that. They have PMT too, I am sure of it.
It CAN be difficult to schedule couple time, especially with a baby - his baby, plus you are working, you have other family members, you have running around to do as in a taxi service and you have a home to run. There would be other things there like talk to your Mum on the phone etc. They all take time.
Do you think your Miss 15 is capable of looking after the other chitlins for a few hours for you to have a dinner out? One where you can talk in peace without being interrupted by said chitlins or phone?
You need to let him know that you are tired too.
Good luck :-x
MsCat, how lovely that MissKitty still comes home to her kittylitter. I bet you had a real girly sleep over.
Congratulations are well and truly in store for the fabulous MissKitty on her head being worthy of being hunted. Great news. Is she going to take it up?
Colour changes. Funny how I don't think of you MsCat as being (now I have forgotten) whatever colour you said you were. I always imagined you with dark brown hair.
Black Sheepy, I imagine you with medium brown so in my mond, going blonde would be strange. :^O
Of course, I have no freaking idea what colour you are and how blonde would go with that but I hope you look a la fabulous.
Yesterday I went with my sis to see the stage production of Chorus Line. I really enjoyed it. Joshua Horner is involved with it and some of you might know him as a judge on Dancing With the Stars.
After that, we went to an advance screening of The Sapphires. What a fantastic movie. You MUST put it on your list of movies to go and see.
It starts in the cinemas on 9th August.
I am still waiting for my confirmation email with the flight details and accommodation for the trip to Alice Springs.
I have had phone confirmation of my win, plus phone confirmation to check who the other passenger would be.
When everything is sorted I will be sent the email with all the info.
I also get a hire car and unlimited kms.
My daughter is going with me. Not the poopy one, the nice one. 😛
Cynth, don't forget to log in.
Oh and one other thing. It is MrBraff's and my wedding anniversary today :-x 😉 ]:)

😞 How come I tend to write a book and everyone else can write things in much shorter posts?
I was leaving MsJacks til last and then I pressed post before I wrote anything.
I think it was talking about my anniversary that put me off the track. B-)
MsJacks, it seems like things are really improving on the communication level with your brother so that is wonderful.
I m sure they will all be happy with the plaque and wording that you have done. Men quite often don't want to have to handle things like that.
It was good that your cousin was able to be with you also.
Good luck with collecting your mothers things. Please check that the jewellery is all there.
Will your brother go with you on that day?
Take care MsJacks and we are all thinking of you.
Sending speciall higs and hugs to Master JamesCrazy (there is a twitter name with JamesCrazy), Miss 15Crazy and Master 6Crazy.
All the best to MIA if you are reading this and hello to She Ele and YCDI.
I hope everyone is well.
Damn! Another book.

I loves reading Mrs Braff's novels 😉 :-x
I'm glad its the nice daughter going with you to Alice Springs and not the poopy one :^O You certainly get about Mrs Braff!
And a very Happy Aniversary Mr and Mrs Braff ♥♥♥
Miss Kitty has given notice at her current job. Her boss had just told her how valued she is and how he couldn't have run his business without her. When she told him she was leaving he almost cried! 😞
Blacksheepy are you blonde yet are you blonde yet? I've summoned up the courage and bought a Dark Ash Blonde DIY colour. I may do it on the weekend. Yes Mrs Braff I'm usually a med/dark brown. "They" say as you get older you should go lighter. I hope "they" are right. 😐
PS I'd rather do it myself because in all my years of going to the hair salon I have NEVER and I mean NEVER been happy with the colour. I seem to be able to do my own hair really well for some odd reason. If this colour looks too blonde I'll do my own streaks of light brown.
Hugs to all whom post specially our special braveheart Ms Jacks.
I've taken a sickie today. I feel so naughty! ]:)

Happy Anniversary Mr and Mrs Braff
Tisk tisk naughty kitty. Sick days are for being sick (sick of work is acceptable too 😉 )
Still feeling really low myself. Having lots of awful dreams. Miss 15 has been in contact to let me know she is OK but is not coming home yet (her words)
Still waiting for Mr. Basted (mum called him that in the end because he was so horrible to her) to allow us into the home to collect mum's things. It's placing a lot of stress on me. Can't help thinking of her in her sick days and what she went through.
Back to work tomorrow. Not sure I am ready for it but it may help to be distracted from my situation atm.
Have a great day Okers :-x
