The chanting meeting was amazing. My sister is also a Buddhist and I am in awe of her strength during this difficult time. It's like watching a miracle. She is literally glowing. She is living in the present moment and finding the joy in that moment. She is laughing and she is teary, but when she cries it's all about love for her daughter and hope rather than anxiety and fear. My niece is OK and is going back to school part time. The school is now very supportive.

I'm learning more and more about the benefits of chanting. It doesn't stop bad things from happening. But it gives you courage and wisdom and a more integrated whole way of seeing life when you need it. Our teacher listens and advises but most of all she hears us and has belief in us, that we will work this out, that we will be ok. She smiles at us, that smile of "you are fabulous and wise and courageous". We always feel so joyful after chanting and talking with her.

I hope Ms Jacks is having the time of her life!. Hugs to Cuddly, YCDI, She-Ele, Rosie and everyone I've forgotten!

Hardly anything packed but cooked me dinner and raced off to get my son from soccer before I could do it....

I will see what the situation is tonight because I know his rent began yesterday.

Really he doesnt own that much stuff.... I could pack it all up and have it on the front verandar in about an hour, maybe 2 max to look for stuff mixed with mine.

So he's applied for a rental, went through the 'motions' of paying a bond .. but it was all just to please you it seems. He really doesn't get it does he. 😞

You could move his stuff then change the locks if he's still there at a time you nominate if it has to come to that.

Yes he definately has a room in a gorgeous house in an area about 10/15 mins drive.

The bond plus first week was paid nearly a fortnight ago. He bought a bed online.

He had told them he'd be moving in after last weekend (the Wedding), so that's why his rental period officially began yesterday.

Miss 15 quietly phoned me at work yest arvo to say he was dragging clothes out of my bedroom, but when I checked it was only a top shelf and not any hanging or drawer stuff, no shoes or toiletries???? *sigh*

I boxed up his bits n pieces over the weeks so it would be easier, and i have left for him some of those huge stripey bags to put clothes into.

Even cleared out the shed (to get a new smaller one) and put all of his items to one side to stay separate.

He avoided speaking to me at all, and went straight to sleep on the lounge, when I assumed that he'd pack more even just to have it ready for the next day...?

Im going to ask him straight what he's doing this arvo, I hate games and manipulation, he phoned me twice yesty while I was working for fake questions and started the cry on the phone and silent pauses with me, I had to tell him to stop cos Im working and it is being manipulative.... twice he hung up on me!

I just had a thought, maybe he took today off without telling me and went and did his pack/move??

Just because last week I asked if he was taking a day or 2 off this week and he looked puzzled and asked why he would??

I said to move/organise/settle?? He looked devistated.

He also mentioned that he didnt want to move in front of me & the kids, so wouldnt it be wise to take Mon or tue when Im at work and kids at school??

Sunday night he did a huge big pitch to try to get me to change my mind (same old promises blah blah) and when I said I wouldnt, he looked that gutted, as if he'd heard for the first time that I was leaving him!! Carried on with tears etc, I just stayed calm because it is just too familiar.

Anyway Miss 16 will phone me after school like she usually does, and if there is anything to tell I will hear it then.

OMG.... the sneaky manipulator was in fine form during and after the Wedding! I was so angry but I knew that he'd take advantage of my being emotional and soft with all the love of the Wedding etc.

He may have moved out today Kylie but I wouldn't expect him to if his past behaviour is an indication of what he's likely or unlikely to do.

Perhaps he thought if he actually went through the motions of securing a rental etc you would suddenly "realise how serious this was" and change your mind.

You would have had way more respect for him if he'd had manned up and moved out, while remaining civil and supportive to you and the children instead of game playing and manipulation.

My Mr Ex didn't get this. He couldn't understand why I wouldn't be friends. It wasn't the fact he'd had an affair that made me want to cut off all communication. It was the fact he was such a bar stool during the whole saga.

So pleased how positive your sister and neice are Cat_mioux.  The pressures of today are a lot on a young ones head.

Kylie, the wedding is one of the prettiest I have seen.  Everything looked beautiful.  You certainly don't look 40 Kylie and your 2 kids have grown up into beautiful young people.  You must be so proud.  And of course, with pink being my favourite colour.

Just a little hint .... Frank and I were invited to Matt and Kim's 21 week scan today and we can't get the smiles off our faces :^O.

Hopefully your ex had moved when you got home from work.  Save a lot of emotion if he has.

thanks Sandy, my sister did a fantastic job with all the design/planning, it was so classy and elegant.
