Was funny to watch, her b/f n I were excited and trying not to smile at each other! LoL
she sat staring at the printed ticket trying to work out what the paper meant as she had previously talked to me about B D O and id said she was too young!
took several mins before she got all OMGing and excited, and she came to the kitchen later hugging me and thanking me for making it possible!
she is a good girl. โค๏ธ

Hi folks.
Well, I'm as ready as I can be for the big day tomorrow and totally exhausted. Turkey, and mini lamb roast are cooked and wrapped in foil to keep them nice and juicy, English Pork Pie jis baked and sitting in the fridge looking so yummy i can hardly bear not to cut myself a slice. I bought and cooked fresh beetroot this year and I've sliced it and set it in a jelly made from a packet of rasperry jelly using 1/3 water and 2/3 vinegar mixture the beetroot was cooked in. We are also having coleslaw, Waldorf salad and my special Christmas salad - a platter of salad greens with chopped yellow and red capsicum, cherry tomatoes, diced pineapple white grapes and green cocktail onions scattered over it.it should look rather festive. We've got Chistmas puddings (homemade) mince pies (ditto) and fruit salad for dessert.
the lounge room is spotless, the kitchen floor might get washed before I go to bed if I have the energy, the guest room is prepeared and we are just waiting now for DD and DIL to arrive from Perth.
Oh, and did I mention I am totally eaxhausted and we are getting pasta takeaway for dinner when the kids arrive cos I simply can't be fifed doing any more cooking.
I don't imagine I'll be looking in here tomorrow so I
ll take this opportunity to wish you all a

Once again MrBraff will be working. I can't remember the last time that he had it off.
We (minus MrBraff) will be going to my brother & Sister in laws place. We have the traditional Christmas hot dinner with all the meats and trimmings. Bon bons, pudding etc. She has the ability and home to cater for so many people. This year there will be 30 - 32 people.
The poor girl had to work today though.
She prefers to do it all so she knows exactly what and where things are. We pay her instead of everyone bringing something.
Kylie, I loved your story about Miss 16 and the tickets. Good luck with the driving. She sounds like a wonderful young lady so I am sure she will pay attention to you or to whoever is teaching her.
I had better get to bed before Santa starts flying overhead.
