Master Kitty is home. He tried going to Centrelink but they were closed as was his bank (he has a car loan). He's OK. He feels relieved because he was expecting this to happen for the last year.

At least he's home with Mum and I can help support him until he finds work.

The local paper here advertised for a sports writer Sat. apps close tomorrow. Good opportunity for someone  😄

I hope he finds something he likes soon. Does he like dealing with people online and phone? Coles or Woolies online have customer service centres in Melbourne and are growth departments.

sorry to hear about master Kitty - I do hope he'll find something soon.

We had a lovely Christmas - Christmas Day with DSs 1 and 3 and DIL, then yesterday we drove down to Busselton for the big family bash chez DD. It was so special to have everyone there together and as we looked around the dinner table (24 people sitting down to a roast with all the trimmings) Mr Elephant said to me 'Isn't it amazing to think we are responsible for all this.

Ms Cat that is a darn nuisance about Master Kitty.  So many get put off at this time of year.  I hope he got a decent redundancy package that will tide him over while he looks for work.

I hope you had fun opening the parcels that Miss Kitty left for you.

Your Christmas sounds nice She _Ele.  Good food, good company.

Just like ours was.  We had 30 at a very long table.  It was a great day and I found out that I am to be an Aunty to twins next year.  :-x

At least she has 3 weeks until her birthday to get over Christmas and before the next lot of pressies start arriving.

My DD had her birthday yesterday.  :-x

One of my nieces had her birthday on the 19th her daughter on the 26th and her sons is on the 30th.  The is only the 3 of them in their little family and their birthdays are all around Christmas and only 11 days from start to finish.  Expense and gifts overload.

She and MsJacks have been very quiet.  I hope they are OK or at least away having a great time.

Things for me have been up & down, which is of course very normal, it was hard over Christmas, and he have our baby's first birthday to share in a few weeks and then after that we can keep moving on with our new lives into a new year.

Talking about my precious one, we are doing a professional photoshoot tomorrow for her 1 year milestone, it is a little early as we are also doing a "cake smash" session which I will get a poster made to put up at her party in January!

I have been busy scrubbing a wall (backdrop) and sweep n mop in preparation and have made 2 cakes and decorated with balloons, streamers etc As well as lay out her tutu's and beads, hairbows and a couple of outfits ready for a fun morning!

my bestie is bringing her beautiful 6 month old twin girls over to get their pic taken while I have a professional photographer in my house.....

I can't wait to see how they all turn out!
