My bubba girl got all teary and clingy this morning when I left her at Day care.... gosh it rips your heart out 😞
But, the ladies are just so sweet and gave her cuddles and guided her over to a fun activity while I got out of the gates to leave. I know she will be fine, I will phone after lunch like I always do, but really makes you a little down in your day to see then waving with big teary eyes saying "mummah"....
Tomorrow is known as 'kissy Thursday' always has been since I started working 3 days, so I get to make up all the smooches Ive missed! hehehe

Thanks thebraff I am feeling fine mine was just a head cold.  A very belated happy birthday to you as well, I have not been on the boards much lately.

Kylie I am glad to hear your sister is okay and that she was not seriously injured.  It is now only 3 weeks until it is our birthdays are you doing anything special, I am taking the day off and going to Taronga zoo and then going out for dinner, I love the zoo and go at least once a year.

I have just found out that the surprise birthday party my OH gave me last year was because he thought it was my big 50 he is gutted that he go it wrong and here was I thinking he had the party on my 49th as it would be a surprise as I would of be expecting him to do something this year so it would not have be a surprise (I am not sure if that makes sense).  The sad think is that last year when we had the party we were both sick as dogs because we had whooping cough and this year we are both fit and well.

I hope everyone is well and happy. I have a cold and I'm coughing up a lung but I'm dragging myself to work every day because it's a hassle to take a sickie.

Master Kitty has moved in with his new girlfriend (they met at Easter) and Miss Kitty received a huge pay rise and my 3 kitties are well. lol

Afternoon all you wise ones- with big hugs for those who have recently had birfdays! Hope you all had a wonderful day and that there was CAKE. I love cake...but dont eat it v often..mm might have to change THAT!

Have been v busy recently..writing, making work, retailing..and dealing with disappointments that just were just not meant to be..changes in retailworld- the lease is up,and bossman needs to make a decision..where to go. I have found a few spaces, but can he organise hisself to get to melbournetown?? Dealing with commercial real estate agents is NOT fun. On an upside have been headhunted ( love that word lol!) for a new retailworld, but thats v hush hush and not beginning for about 3 months..so a few changes up ahead..

What do people think of the new CS? A few changes, huh?

Miss mioux, hope you will feel better soon, melb has been bitter this Winter, hasnt it...great to read of master kitty and his lovely romance- I wish him all the best..and big shout out for miss kitty, she seems to be going ahead leaps and bounds in her career.you must be so proud of her! Also, any news of Ava, and how shes going?

Hello the fabulous YCDI!

I also love the term 'headhunted'! It's wonderful to have choices! Keep us posted on which path you decide to take .. to stick with mr bossman or the headhunter? lol

I like the CS boards and have heard good things about the mods, they seem to moderate fairly and are personable.But I loathe the new emoticons! I started a thread a while back about changing the smileys. These are just too weird looking.

I've been promoted at work and I'm now hanging out with the cool kids. Whoohooo!

Little Ava is blooming and her mama is doing so well. J has formed a very close uncle and neice relationship since they met last Christmas. Now J wants a little baby of his own. Uh oh. Miss Kitty is younger than J and wants to focus on her career. But I'm sure they'll work it out. I may be a grandmother ... one day. 🙂

PS I still think about the beautiful little X stitch "Ava" you made. It has a special place in Ava's room, on the wall.

Main... Are you also on the 15th? And this year is a 'milestone' one? Woohoo! Gotta love hubby's efforts for last year though.
Last year on my 40th my darling husband didn't bother with a dinner out or even a birthday cake! He reluctantly gave me the gift I chose & paid. My family however surprised me with a party and a spoiled me.... Was wonderful!

I officially ended my marriage the night of my party, once we got home after having him scowl with jealousy at me all night, finally a light came on in my brain and I couldn't see any reason to be with him any more..... So the 18th will be a celebration for myself that it is 1 year of separation! Might've been a stressful year, but so glad I finally woke up and not looked back for a single second, was totally the best decision I'd made in a long long time! There is happiness and peace in our home now, the kids & I are really enjoying life!

Samantha is at the cutest age right now! She is so smart, can understand heaps, is developing a cheeky personality. She laughs a lot and adores her family!
I love watching her having new experiences, and with our separation she is getting to go to lots of parks, play centres, farm, toy shops (lol), and regularly comes out for babychinos with myself and/or daddy! The daycare has been a good experience too with first time pairing & play do! Such a whizz on my iPhone & iPad where she has her own Aps, and knows how to access them and use them correctly!

I'm just recouperating from a severe 24hr vomit/dia bug, first my son had it (we thought food poisoning), then my turn 😞 just hoping miss 16 & bubba girl don't get it next .... was pretty brutal!

Bumping

I think I've now been sick for a month *shock* but I take some comfort that about 80% of people at work are also sick with this coughing virus and gastro bug! I don't like being the only one *ebil smiley*.

PS I'm having to resort to smiley descriptions because I loathe the emoticons we have now *angry face*

I hope everyone is keepng well and remember Spring is just around the corner!
