My BFF was diagnosed with breast cancer late last year. She was 33 at the time, 34 now. She has a 3yo and a 4yo. It's the 3rd time she's had cancer in her life. She started on chemo straight away, then radiation. They did a scan on her week before last as she was nearing the end of the prescribed radiation treatments to check how it was all going. Last Monday they told her she's terminal, 2 years max. It has spread to her lungs, spine and brain. They settle on their new house next friday.
I'm just lost.

Hi Cat ๐
Right now, I'm looking at the waste of so many years and even though regret isn't the most productive thing in the world, it's what comes to mind, along with disappointment.
I wish everyone going through the same thing the best of luck. I'm sure it does get better. Well, it better get better.

Hi Cat ๐
I've recently gone through the same thing (2 weeks ago) after 9 years (my entire adult life, basically). Seems like 'tis the season not to be jolly. I didn't imagine heartbreak could be so physical and all consuming, but it is. That said, it's the best diet I've ever come across.
