If you blame others or circumstances for what happens in your life you are not taking responsibility. We make the causes and therefore experience the effects (Karma) which determines our lives. That is so true Cat.

It may not seem fair to us when 'stuff' happens, but if we can accept that our actions bought on the results, then we are left with the feeling we have some control over it not happening again and are not just left with that empty feeling of 'its not fair' which is debilitating.

Cat, your journey is enlightening a lot of us. Thank you for sharing. 🙂

Good morning fabulous ladies :-x


I was sitting here feeling lonely when I got a text from a friend asking what plans I have for Tuesday. Still waiting for her to tell me what she has in mind. 😄

The kitties have been extra naughty this morning. Someone did a vomy on my nice clean folded sheets that were left on the dining room table and Pene kept chasing Beau around the house trying to bite him on the rump 😮 And there's fur all over the floor because Thai and Pene had a wrestling match. 😐

Other than that .. work this afternoon.

Must get some chanting in this morning ...

I turned the calender page over to April this morning and there was a pic of Mr Ex which I covered with smileys thanks to the gorgeous OK member who sent them to me last month :-x

This is a little odd... I must be a Buddhist at heart 😉 cause I have always believed that happiness is something you make for yourself, not something someone can hand to you on a plate.

It is something I tried to explain to my OH when he was being a nonads, looking for "happiness" that no person could give him.
