This is a good place to hang out, and I bet if Ms Mioux was here she would say she never thought she could cope so well either, not in the beginning.

randyntam I have been reading your thread and I just want you to know I am here for you with my support. I also have a child (grown up now) who is Bipolar and I know the heartbreak, the frustration, the 'craziness'. Hang in there .. it WILL get better. The right medication can help. As his mum I 'go with the flow' and appreciate the stable periods. You take one day at a time. It's all you can do.

I'm still feeling so different. I 'indulged' in thinking about Mr Ex while still in bed this morning, my usual habit, but there wasn't any intense feelings connected with my thinking about him IYKWIM?

Which is strange because for the last 10 years I've always had intense feelings when thinking about him - whether it was love, anger, frustration, lust ...

He's just so .... gone ... from my life, no longer a part of me.

I asked my boss if I could apply for a full time position at work but he has to go to management so it may take a couple of weeks to happen.

I've applied for 3 days leave in August. Not much I know LOL but it's something to look forward to. I plan to spring clean the house.

I was offered extra work yesterday. I announced my terms of hours, and commencement date and alas, they weren't very interested.

I've come to a stage in my life that I should be able to set the terms of my employment. This employer didn't like my terms but the next may like my terms.

i reckon for me, it's a matter of time before I get the work that I want, in the hours I want because I want them.

Her boyfriend has stepped up so she's giving him another chance .. atm 😉

My furbabies scratch my new green sofa, they shed fur, they puke on it ... X-(

but I don't stress. I vacuum it, spray Preen on it and for some reason the scratches don't show so it always comes up as good as new. 😄

The other night, Pene jumped onto the kitchen bench and managed to sweep all the clean dishes off the surface with her pretty tail. A couple of dishes broke but all I could do was laugh. Mr Ex would have yelled and screamed and stomped. :^O

I've also set my terms. I said I'm only available on a certain day and a certain time slot.
