How are you feeling Kylie? Another day closer.
Im feeling ok. Still hanging in there! ๐
My grandparents just came over for a visit, they hadnt seen Mr 12's new bedroom or the nursery. They are looking forward to the new baby, as with the rest of the family! โฅ
My visit with the hypnotherapist was really great yesterday- hubs & lil sis came and she instructed them how to assist me to get me into a deep meditative/ hypnotised state.
She says as useful as this is for a natural birth, it is also good for nerves/stress during a c-sect... and especially afterwards in the first day/s of recovery.
Cutting back my work hours from here on, still prob going into work everyday, but only for a few hours and early home.
I have Monday off for Mr 12's High school orientation, and Tues morning for his school awards assembly.
The following week I need another day & half off again for his Yr 6 Graduation Assembly and 'Farewell'.
These new boards are making me want to come here less, but I will keep my fellow OKers up to date if/when we go into labour and have the bubs! โฅ

And, the rest is my answer & updates!!!!! Grrrrrrr...... X-(
I am really just posting this to test the quote thingy. If it works then I want to thank you too MsCat ๐
Lvelives, you have had a dreadful time. Wishing you lots of happiness to come.
One question - are you still going to be the carers/guardians of your physically challenged friends young child?
Higs and hugs to one and all.

Good morning all :-x
Waving to all as I pass through on my way to work.
Dad stayed over last night for a visit, We went to dinner at the club and he left at 10am this morning to go back to his sisters. Leaves to go back to Qld on Tues.
He's a skeleton. Weighs 43kg. He is on a high protein diet (including special powder shake meals) and he can't even eat half of what he's meant to. He's fading away. ๐
He's still smoking but has cut down to around 12 a day now ๐ He's forever coughing and almost choking and taking his asthma spray but tells me all his tests are good. Me thinks he might not be letting on too much. Oh and he has osteoporosis.
Take care all. Higs and hugs :-x

Hi OK peeps!
Higs and hugs for those going through difficult times :-x
Hi fiesta's, it's good to know you are still a strong supporter of this thread and all whom post her. :-x
Jacks I'm glad you enjoyed seeing your dad. It would be worrying that he weigh's so little but some people do struggle to put on weight. You have confronted him but he says there is nothing wrong so that's all you can do.
I'm starting to miss drth! I hope she is ok.
Still not sure when DD will be home. She said they have to catch four flights with 8 hours in between each flight! It's going to be a marathon journey home. They were supposed to come home via NZ but Qantas stuffed up their tickets so now they have to fly from Rio to Santiargo to Chile to Sydney to Melbourne. The date sho uld be confirmed tomorrow.
Remember the Christmas period can heighten people's emotions so people around you may act more nutty than usual. Don't buy into the hype or the stress.
That's my advice :^O
