Mr. Fish is a fighter. Still alive but lying sideways on the bottom of his bowl. 😞

My Easter has been pretty quiet and I have to admit to spending a lot of time being vary lazy and eating all the wrong foods :8}

I might have to do something today, it looks like I've had a party at my house for three days. :^O

Hi fabulous peeps!

I hope everyone had a lovely Easter! I cooked a lovely (free-range) chicken and roast vege's for the meat eaters without being too traumatised 🙂

I'd made a Lemon Tart the day before but thought I had overcooked it so I raced off to the supermarket to buy a Mud Cake. The lemon tart was actually incredibly yummy so we had both, and lots of easter eggs were given ... oh my. I'm feeling very fat fat fat.

Now I'm off to have lunch at the local pub with one of my sisters.

Tomorrow is my last day of holidays and me and Miss Kitty are going to have a girly day together.

These holidays have been FANTASTIC. I feel like I've acomplished a lot, and have reached a couple of milestones which I wasn't expecting.

It's been said recovering from infidelity can take 1-2 years. I guess it does ... there seems to be a process which you go through without even realising it.  You can't hurry the healing but you can choose to be happy and the healing happens.

I baked some ginger and rhubarb muffins and scones this morning- had a couple of friends over and we set ourselves right up with steaming tea and groaning plates..yummy! Bought the rhubarb at the farmers market- the farmer cut the ends with the most massive machete..I was 😮 but it was so tender!

Theres a storm approaching from the South in Melbournetown, the sky looks very low and dark grey..the wind is up.Perfect weather to do some work in my studio...

A glorious day here today although the temp has gone down under 20 degrees.  It is due to go up again tomorrow and stay up so that is good.

MrBraff's surgeon rang him yesterday to give him some good news so that was a relief.    Stitches out tomorrow and then he needs to see the surgeon again in May for scar management. 😮

He looks a bit like a zipper.  🙂

YCDI Ginger and Rhubarb muffins sound divine! I think summer is over in Melbourne Town. We were all freezing last night because we haven't changed our summer bedding to winter bedding ... which we shall be doing tonight before we get frostbite!

I had a sleepless night. The kitties found their way upstairs during the night. Thai woke me at 4am and Pene a couple of hours later. Little Beau stayed in his bed of course. He is so polite.
