Smoochies to the dear lurkers :-x

Update on living with MK. I went all "mother" on him today, because he stayed up late playing on the computer and slept in till late afternoon! But he said he's been the happiest he's felt in ages and laughed at my "I don't think you should stay up so late" speech. ๐Ÿ˜„

Hey lovelies....

Glad the thread is staying!

It's good to have a place just to blert stuff, dont even need replies really, sometimes just unloading or puting it in words can be so very helpful and theraputic!

We had a lovely Fathers Day today... started out a little rocky with hubs being a 'donkey' (again pfft!), but once we got to my parents and the whole family was together and we all had a great lunch out catching up.... then we all drove to my lil sisters house block to see the framework of the house they are building, then back to parents house for stepdads bday cake & pressies!

Samantha had a ball, and enjoyed the whole day and new experiences (like her first taste of watermelon. Mmmmm), was so sticky & messy that mum had to bath her (in a plastic drinks tub), and put her in jammies to come home and crash out! She's exhausted!! LoL

My life's a real rollercoaster at the moment, why cant things just be easy???

PS: Hi Sandy, think of you often. X

Hello everyone   ~~~

Sorry I have been MIA.  I did lurk a couple of days ago but wasn't sure how to respond.

It was when Kylie mentioned her hub trouble and I think I went into a state of disbelief.

I feel for you Kylie and I hope that all gets sorted out sooner rather than later.

MsCat, how wonderful to read that MasterKat is thriving by being back with you.

I hope MissKitty is going well with her man.

Please don't lose this thread.  I have it as a saved one so I never have to go looking for it.

The weather in Sydney has been glorious over the last few days buyt quite chilly at night.

Keep well everyone and higs and hugs to you all.

I miss YCDI, I hope she pops in soon.

Hi MIA - miss you too.

Hi everyone including the lovely lurkers!

Kylie you have a very close family who obviously adore you so if anything happens between you and mr kylie I'm sure you have all the support you'll need. When you feel safe, knowing you have a back up plan, it's easier to make decisions that are not based on fear.

That's why I stayed with Mr Ex for longer than I should have. I was afraid of how I was going to make it on my own. I shouldn't have worried. It's been a year and a half and for 5 of those months I had Miss Kitty and J live with me and now I have MK living with me. Anyway, I learned I could manage on my own quite well and it wasn't as scary as I thought it was going to be.

You have already been through so much but you know you are a surviver. I hope your hubby wakes up and grows up soon. ((hugss)).

BTW Samantha is such a cutey โ™ฅ

Mrs Braff I hope all is well with you and yours. We are having glorious sunny days too! In Melbourne of all places! My blood test results showed I had low Vitamin D. Well der ... I do live in Melbourne where the sun hasn't shined in literally months! lol

Hugs to Jacks and Cuddly and those MIA!

Miss Kitty is doing very well. She has a new job as an events manager but has been very busy. But she is coming over tonight for dinner. Now I just have to think about what to cook?

Hi lovely Okers

Hugs to Kylie.

Had a mini meltdown this morning. Just finances, stress and constant drama getting on top of me. My dad stayed a few days before and after the little 'putting mum's ashes in her plot ceremony' on Friday. I can't believe he started to lecture me about moving on, getting rid of mum's stuff and not letting her death ruin my life blah blah blah. The beautiful mirror I want to keep of my mums, he says, "you need to sell it as it doesn't belong in this house. You are not doing the mirror justice by hanging it in here"

Then last straw was ex telling me today "You should get a job".Well that's all good and well. I actually do have a paying job and I'm just coping enough to keep that going. Anyway meltdown time. I ranted, cried and locked all the doors. Next minute. ex and my son turn up to finally get rid of some rubbish (old furniture etc.) I have asked that they remove next time they are doing a tip run some 6 months ago and son comes to mow my lawn first time in 3 months.

Perhaps I should melt more often ๐Ÿ˜

Hope everyone is taking care of themselves or at least doing the best they can..like me.

Have a great day. It's been glorious weather here the last 2 days.

((Jacks)) you're entitled to have a mini meltdown and you are entitled to have your family support you. As much as we'd like to think we are Superwoman, we are but human and we can't do everything ourselves. Well ... we can try but symptoms include meltdowns. :-x

Be kind to yourself.
