Weddings are such wonderful special events for the whole family!
A quiet night in, once bubba was in bed, my 13 year old son taught me to waltz in our loungeroom. I was in my oj's and heels and he helped me practice in ready for my dance with the Best an, and also the mother/son dance tomorrow.
such a treasured memory will live in my heart forever. โค๏ธ

YCDI Thank you :-x Thank you for listening, really listening, as you do and affirming and reminding me I have done something with my suffering in a positive way.
Lurker your post made me cry. I'm so happy (through tears) that your sister and BIL got to form memories of their beloved baby boy. It's so important. Thank you. :-x
I was able to say goodbye eventually. A service was organised for all the hospital burials at a certain cemetery on the outskirts of Melbourne, a pretty little one. A celebrant gave a service and a plaque was made and we were given seedlings to plant in honour of our babies. It was actually filmed by a news crew. They were very respectful and asked permission before filming.
Kylie have a wonderful weekend wedding :-x
Love to the Freddies, thinking of the both of you this weekend :-x
YCDI did you need your flak jacket? ๐ :-x

Ok, Im struggling with something with the hubs... he keeps sending me texts asking me to do marriage counselling.
One thing I do know is that marriage counselling will never work when one partner is in active addiction and denial.
I hope you have a fab time at the wedding!

OK, now that I got that out of the way ๐
I am thinking of you and your family today MsKylie.
I hope it is a beautiful wedding which I am sure it is. The rain has stayed away (well where I am it has), so it should be a great event.
I do hope MrEx is staying off the booze and not causing trouble.
Fingers crossed for a smooth transition on Monday.
MsCat, how very special you are with the struggles you had all those years ago. I too know people that would be very grateful to you. Here's to you sista *raises glass* *slaps Ms Cat's back*
YCDI, I saw your post the other day about being precious and would you believe I came across a young lady who was so close to doing 'something'. A young man I know wrote a beautiful poem for this young lady which I would love to post here but I would need to get his permission first. It was on Facebook and I wrote a comment that SHE was precious and a few other little words and she wrote back thanking me. Now, I don't know this girl, it was only because of the original post that I commented but made sure I used the word precious and that it was relating to HER.
So thank you YCDI :-x
I wonder how MsJacks is going this weekend........B-) Well I hope.
Higs and hugs to all and sundry who come here, whether you post or not.
All the very best to the Freddies.

I have just received permission.
This is written by MW
I Will Hold You
As the earth spins
We live our lives
Most of us with a smile
Living in a happy place
Sometimes the demons take hold
Pulling us down
But we put on a brave face
And we endure the pain
It's ok to let go
It's ok cry
It's ok to shed a tear
But please don't say goodbye
I would hold you for an hour
I would hold you for a day
I would hold you for as long as it takes
For the pain to go away
It's ok to ask for help
It's ok to looks into my eyes
Lets join the road to happiness..... side by side
Your heart will beat again
You'll grace as with your smile
No matter how hard you resist
You'll laugh until you cry
I will hold you for an hour
I will hold you for a day
I will hold you for as long as it takes
For the pain to go away

Just a quick thankyou for all your love support and good wishes, we are back home, but only for a couple of days, then back to Sydney for surgery Thursday. โฅ

I found it actually built up more anger and resentment. It was recommended that separate counselling took place first to deal with the surrounding issues. Was a waste of time all round as, like I believe is the case with you too Kylie...I had already emotionally left after trying so many times for so long.
