Thanks Kylie I am sure I read somewhere on this thread that your birthday is 15th August if I am right we share the same birthday.
Well thanks to thebraffs suggestion about a wheel chair my OH is going to take me into the shopping centre today so I can do a bit of shopping. When It comes to buying the stuff for him I will hobble around on my crutches so he does not know what he is getting. It is amazing how quickly your body adjusts and you build up strength where needed
I have one question though, is it worth going to all this effort if the world is going to end on the 21st December:^O, mind you we will be having lunch at the food court so that is worth it I suppose

Hugs to those missing loved ones at this time of year :-x
Happy shopping maine!
Thinking of the Freddies. I hope Mr Freddie is settling back and resting well.
4 weeks till I get a holiday. Is it too early to start counting? :^O
I'm not feeling the best. I'm exhausted and due for a sickie but I dare not take any time off in December. Last year they denied employee's their Xmas present if they took any time off in December. ๐ Charles Dickens should write about my place of employment.

*waves*
We arrived home yesterday tired and sleep deprived, how wonderful it was to be back in our own bed. Mr was so very tired, it was a big day for him. We will be home for Christmas then back to St. Vincent's for 6 weeks of radiation treatment on 3rd January. This time we will be staying at Waverley.
Kylie, I didn't know your late husband had head/neck cancer, was it squamous cell carcinoma?

Hello all ~~~~
Freddie, how wonderful that you are back home now and that Mr Freddie has some time before the treatment starts. Great news.
Kylie, I loved seeing your post about Miss 16's Formal. I'm sure she looked gorgeous even with the running repairs.
How special that her Dad was 'there'. I totally believe you. We had a similar experience within our own family. The orb showed up on the video and the new parents saw it when they were shown but when it was shown to others it was no longer there. Plus the mother to be felt that father in law was there in spirit to see his first grand daughter being born. Actually, only grand daughter.
I would love to see your daughters face when she gets her tickets to BDO.
Maine, so good that you were able to get to the shops. Yes, lunch was worth going for regardless.
I told MrBraff that I should do the Christmas shopping on the 22nd because of the end of the world :^O
I think they might be verrrry crowded then.
Nice to see you have something to look forward to Cat. I hope you feel better soon.
Miss Kitty is doing really well. Good on her. *claps hands*
Jacks, I hope Mr Potter knows the correct speed to be aiming for now. It is good that you had the chance to tell him. Let's hope he listens.
Over the last 24 hours I have had some startling news.
Firstly, MrBraff had a procedure done yesterday, so hopefully the results of that will be good.
Secondly, I found out that my niece (Alicia's sister) was in an induced coma in ICU while they try and find out what is going on with her. (I don't know if you remember that this same niece was very ill before her other sisters wedding in September).
Thirdly, she is now out of the coma but they still don't know what is happening.
Fourthly, my Uncle passed away though the night so it looks like I will be making a trip to northern NSW within the next week or so.
Talking of Alicia.......the results of her latest scans have been good and she only has a 1 in 2000 chance of another aneurism and she doesn't need another scan for 12 months.
Higs and hugs to all. :-x

Mr and Mrs Freddie are home! :-x I hope Mr Freddie is resting well and manages to re-charge his batteries over the next few weeks. Have you got family close by Freddie? To help with shopping, cooking and cleaning?
Mrs Braff Alicia's sister is now not well??? Do they think it might be some genetic thing? I hope she feels better soon. I'm sorry to hear of your loss as well but hope your trip to the NT goes well. And hoping for good results for Mr Braff!
I hope Kylie is ok (of course she is! She's our Supergirl :-x), Cuddlybunny, YCDI, Jacks .. I'm sure I'm missing lots.
I have "lady" problems, no wonder I haven't been feeling well lately but I'm onto it. Rang GP, pick up a referral for yet another pelvic ultrasound. But at least this time I asked for a bulk billing referral. The last one I had in July I was out of pocket $180! I'm not spending my Xmas bonus on a large probe! ๐
Higs and hugs :-x

Hugs to all.
Braff, sorry your news is not good. Hope things improve really soon.:-x
Ms Cat. those lady problems really are the pits, aren't they? Hope they get everything sorted out quickly and easily.:-x
Freddie, thinking of you and Mr Freddie. I'm so glad you will be having Christmas at home.
Kylie, I hope everything is going smoothly for you. You must be so proud of your little graduate.:-x
I'm feeling ridiculously chuffed this morning. I've had 'The Devils Own' up on that tree place, for several weeks now and today I made my first sale.:-D

Fabulous! May you sell lots of books and bring joy to many people.
I love books. I'll never buy one of those kindle things or whatever they're called. I love the feel, the smell, having them by my bed and in my handbag.
