Kylie, I didn't know your late husband had head/neck cancer, was it squamous cell carcinoma?
Well hunni being 12yrs ago im not remembering the exact technical name.
my husband had melanoma. It was accompanied by a 'carcinoma' type word. It was very brutal and fast spreading.
it looked at the start like a cracked lip, but each morning a yawn would open and make it bleed, by the time he saw a Dr it looked like he woubeen eyed very deep laser treatment to remove infection, but a biopsy showed cancer so within the week we were at RPA (Sydney) for removal of most of the lower lip and reconstructive surgery so he didnt have a big gaping hole pin his face.
he recovered slowly but ok from the Op but then severe radiation took it out of him. He took about a year to recover then got back to his normal life/work routines.
About 18 months later he woke in the night with splitting headache and at hospital they discovered a bargain tumor..... And several others thru his body.
he haws lucky to come out if surgery and after several weeks came home to live out his final weeks/months as there was nothing more that could be done.
officially they said 9 weeks to 9 months life expectancy, he lasted 14 months and died at 32..
I hope Kylie is ok (of course she is! She's our Supergirl :-x)

today was Mss 16'sGraduation, was a nice ceremony which was long for a baby, poor Sammy was in her pram from about 9 am til 11:30.... I fed her breaky then managed to get her to have a 45 min nap as well!
afterwards I took both my girls to Max Brenners for a surprise treat.... Such a great day! Miss 16 has a medal also...
dOwn side is he ex, who still has a key and was waiting for me inside my house when we got home today! Grrrrr

I meant to comment about your health issues, hope you get everything sorted quickly and feel better without too big of a cost.

Everyday the older kids have a diff routine for me to arrange pick ups etc! Been soo annoying!!
Tonight Miss 16 & I are finally going with my mum & sis to see Twilight in Gold class and have dinner!
We're both super excited!!
Tomorrow Im meeting my mum for Xmas shopping and for Sammy to have her Santa photo (take 2)... without daddy there Im sure will be much better!
This weekend - Saturday is big clean ups at my house to prepare for Christmas.... and Sunday we are visiting some friends for a Xmas catch up and the kids will swim in their pool.... Sammy will experience swimming for the first time!!
