Hi lovely OK girls :-x

Yes it's Week One AN :^O Today is a good day.

Last night at work one of the younger and super intelligent guys gave me some words of wisdom. He said my brain is wired to think like a 'couple' i.e 'we' rather than 'me' because for 10 years I've thought like a 'couple' and that may take some time for those connections in the brain to wither and die until new connections are made. I really liked that analogy. ๐Ÿ˜„

My Buddhist teacher has asked me to write an article for the Buddhist magazine about my experience. And you guys are going to be in it! She said this has been an amazing experience. Re: The love, support, compassion, gifts. The emails I've received from others going through the same suffering but feeling inspired by reading the thread. The incredible OK day! I may be ready to write it in a month or two. :-x

I miss the Nonads updates though. I'd love to know how he and skanky pants are doing....or not doing ;

:^O Yep me too. But we really don't need a crystal ball to divine what's most likely to happen. ๐Ÿ˜„

Hello Miss Cat ... I can't believe it's only been 1 week since OK#2.

I'm so sorry I have not been as supportive as a pup should be this week, it's been one of the worst weeks ever.

Seems they keep coming :_|

You're doing such and awesome job of keeping up your strength & staying sane. The 'wondering' would be killing me, I'm not good at not knowing what's going on. Not that it matters, I understand that, but still. I also wonder how long it will take him to contact you again, because somehow I'm sure he will when he's feeling weak.

Also, excellent work on holding out for the right couch. I'm going to start doing some meditiation on this matter on your behalf!

I've also been offered a coffee table, friend at work is bringing it over next week. Not sure if it will be my permanent one but it will do for now ๐Ÿ™‚

I hope next week will be better for you bpuppy ๐Ÿ™‚

Dear Ms Cat,
Nice to hear from you and that its a good day :-x

I like what your work colleague said-perceptive and v true.
Re wondering how Mr is..its all natural, its really a matter of keeping a perspective about those thoughts. Also, you wondered what he was doing when he was with you,and Im sure its changed.. :-x I have a feeling that it will become less interesting and more pointless as time passes.

Hang in there-you are really traveling v well and we admire you for it:-)

My BFF was diagnosed with breast cancer late last year. She was 33 at the time, 34 now. She has a 3yo and a 4yo. It's the 3rd time she's had cancer in her life. She started on chemo straight away, then radiation. They did a scan on her week before last as she was nearing the end of the prescribed radiation treatments to check how it was all going. Last Monday they told her she's terminal, 2 years max. It has spread to her lungs, spine and brain. They settle on their new house next friday.

I'm just lost.

Hi Cat ๐Ÿ™‚

I've recently gone through the same thing (2 weeks ago) after 9 years (my entire adult life, basically). Seems like 'tis the season not to be jolly. I didn't imagine heartbreak could be so physical and all consuming, but it is. That said, it's the best diet I've ever come across.

Right now, I'm looking at the waste of so many years and even though regret isn't the most productive thing in the world, it's what comes to mind, along with disappointment.

I wish everyone going through the same thing the best of luck. I'm sure it does get better. Well, it better get better.
