I managed to fight back a cold. On Sunday I was sneezing, teary eyes, blowing my nose, headache but by Monday I was better. I love Lavender Oil and Vit C. 😄

have had a v stressful time of it recently in retailworld..people dumping their cr.p on my lap..Im really tired of it,and I cant sleep ..its fairly minor stuff, but not mine, iykwim..

I will adjust,and tomorrow is another day,right?

Isn't it ironic that when some event happens in our lives, we just assume that it is so different to what others are dealing with but when we talk about it, we hear of others stories and see that this event isn't so 'different'.  I'm talking about the father issue.  Even though my father is still around, I think, I doubt he will be around much longer (brain cancer).  Although I have not spoken to him in about 15 years and he never really wanted to be part of mine and brothers lives.  I feel pretty much the same as others have said - he wasn't a signifigant part of my life, so what would I really be missing?  Don't particularly like him as a person anyway.

I also feel that we are very wise and responsible women here.  I mean look at the sensible and realistic decision we make!!!!  * High 5 *  😄

Of course I knew this already, just being reminded of it during everyones tough times.

YCDI, I used to work in retail for about 12 years so I totally understand what you mean about people dumping their drama on you (and I'm still stunned at how rude & thoughtless some people can be when I think back to that time).  Remember that their cr*p is not about you.  Or is it anything personal. 

Please try to remind yourself that they might be crabby but you don't have to join them in that yukky atmosphere.  :-x  Hang in there

I have some good news for you though.

Gorgeous Damien will be appearing/performing on Dancing With the Stars this Sunday night, which is wonderful because his partner from last year Mel is still in the competition with Brian Mannix.

Of course, I won't be able to see it  :_| because I will be who knows where, but I am hoping it will be online when I return to Australia.

Ms Cat, coaches are wonderful things.  They get you from place to place quite well.  🙂

Good morning fabulous wise women!

YCDI I had the same problem working with the public. But I do know with absolute certainty that their c*ap reflects my c*ap. Sometimes my c*ap is anger, resentment or not feeling good enough. When I'm not owning my anger: I get angry people. When I'm feeling not good enough I get "you are incompetent blah blah".

When I have days like this I take a breather and chant for 5 mins. When I chant I relax and imagine that every person I attract is filled with a pink loving compassionate light and I include myself in the image too.

And it works! It's amazing. And the more I practice "loving compassion" towards "the public" the less c*ap I attract. I used to be "abused" every day. Now it's very rare and if it does happen I go back to my practice and there are instant results.

I discovered today that my neighbour is moving out. He offered me a beautiful single bed absolutley gorgous. He's moving up where mum is living. It's a chance of a lifetime for him. I'm very happy for him.

He then went on to compliment me on raising my beaut kids on my own and doing a wonderful job. I reminded him of my ex and how he is so suppotive. The compliment was very nice and in good timing considering I feel that I am neglecting tham in some respects with seeing mum when I have to leave them with their dad.

ms Cat:-x thanks for sharing as well..I do understand the law of attraction that you believe in, but what about when its totally random? The situation,though not such a big deal,was a big deal to this bride and I calmly spoke with her twice on the phone and once to her mother in the store..I explained to them how it could work,giving them options and an agreement was made.Then at 5 mins before I was finishing on Monday night the bride phones the store, overwrought, screaming at me and crying for close to 20 mins until she calmed down,after I again listened and counselled her..The same agreement was made,and she apologised for behaving like that.While on the phone one of the lightglobes blew, so when I finished the phone call,I got up on the step ladder and changed it-I was quite upset by the call and I fell off the ladder and chipped a tooth! If I hadnt taken the call,I wouldnt have changed the lightbulb iykwIm..

I am not a therapist for stressed people.I am not qualified nor do I want to be..I didnt 'attract' this situation-she may have attracted me to her stress, but,quite frankly,I see no value in the exchange.I couldnt deal with her differently as I was representing the company and I am the manager of the store.I can only say that some people DO need to take responsibility for their own behaviour.And,ahem,I do- so I dont know what the lesson is for me in this situation-but I do know I will be visiting the dentist tomorrow.:-(

(((cj))) am thinking of you and your mum and sending calm energy to your kids- Im sure in their heartofhearts they understand your need to care for your mum,and that you are most probably preoccupied.Kids are remarkably resilient:-xTake care of yourself too..
