It was the aniversary of my mum passing away a few days ago :-x  Special hugs to those who have lost a parent.

Remember when I impulsively bought a bright red coat and thought "what was I thinking!"? I wore it to work the other day and received so many compliments! Everyone said how the colour suited me. It's been a long long time since I've received a compliment. It made me feel good about myself.

So this week I bought myself a black maxi dress and a long length bright red almost see through fabric overshirt to wear with it (to hide my big fat butt).

It's almost motivated me to lose my "chocolate is my new lover" blubber. Almost. :^O

It's so lovely to receive compliments. Doesn't it just make you feel so good? I'm happy for you Cat.

I was going through some of mums papers yesterday. I didn't have time to go through them at the house so I was just packing up everything.

I pulled out a note from the top of the pile. It was a handwritten note from mum. Which she wrote to find after she passed. The first line reads, "If I am gone (hopefully to heaven)..."

We also found a song she wrote for me among her music books. (I almost didn't take them).

I'm exhausted but having a great time finding HER everywhere.

Jacks, I am so pleased that the day  went as well as it did.  It could have been so different.

MsCat, we knew that the red coat would look wonderful on you.

Is it this weekend that Blacksheepy goes blonde or is it someone else?

I am wondering what it looks like.

We have had such gorgeous weather in Sydney this weekend.  couldn't ask for anything nicer at this time of year.  Cool at nights though.

I would think Blacksheepy is blonde by now! I wish she'd come in and tell us.

I'm blonde now too ... well kind of. The colour on the box said 'dark ash blonde'. It looks like a really light brown to me. :^O

Has Sydney had sunshine? We Melbournians are still waiting *sigh*.
