Good morning all  0/

I'm wearing the Ok's for you MsCat  *hug*  Good luck with your appointment.

Weekday weddings are becoming more popular.  Everything is cheaper than the traditional Saturday wedding.  Venues are easier to book etc too.

Kylie, I hope things pick up for you at work and that you can get past the comment that was said.  :-x

Will the new learner driver changes that come into effect on the 1st July help your daughter or are they only for learners starting out after that date?

It's good to hear that she will knock 4 hours off her total needed with the driving required to get your son to the party.

You have a lot on this weekend Kylie but take the time to enjoy it.

Sending higs and hugs to all  :-x

Freddie, thank you for answering my questions its been very helpful.  I enjoy doing the patient transport, meet some interesting people drive to places I haven't been to in years.  Best of luck with your treatment :-x

Kylie, I hope you find some way to deal with your stepdad.  It's hard when a family member says something out of line. :-x

I'm off to Melbourne for an overnight test, which finally clear up some much needed answers.  Catch you all another day ๐Ÿ˜„

i know this has to happen, but there is so many things that I worry could go wrong, he's just so careless/ casual with her!

Freddie, if there are vital organs involved in the area being radiated, there will be more adverse effects....... being a breast, depending on the actual area, radiation is pinpointed (hence the tatts ]:)) so less likely to be an issue with side effects.

My skin started to redden around the 3rd week but no skin broke down til the 6th week. My OH says that was because he looked after me so well, vitamins, healthy food, walks, sunlight (wearing long sleeves and hat) and lots of rest. (some days I really hated his "caring")

Kylie - it's REALLY hard letting the kids go and knowing the wouldn't be taken care of the same way you would care for them.

My daughter's father is hopeless/careless and she recently told me he doesn't have a car seat in his car anymore as his other kids broke it.  When I took it up with him (that he's not taking her unless he has a car seat) I received a whole lot of abuse stating that I should supply a new one (for his other kids to break again no doubt).  Given that he owes me close to $10k in child support (Yes, the CSA is investigating him, no I can't do anything he is self employed) the last thing I am going to do is pay for a child seat he's more than likely to break!

At some point you just have to take a deep breath and hope to God nothing happens.  Sorry, this probably isn't helping much.  But it's horrible.  I had years of mediation with him and I was lucky enough that he doesn't really want to spend much time with her and mostly cancels or brings her back early.

I would honestly suggest some counselling, which I had and helped tremendously.

I find the best thing is when her dad has a girlfriend, because the girlfriends are always very nice to my daughter and he pretends to be a good dad when they are around.  As bad as it sounds, I find men like that try harder to impress other women than their own children.
