It's kind of my fault for not making the appointment when I should have back in Oct/Nov. Christmas was coming and well ... you know .... 😐

But yes, I really shouldn't worry. I've had 2 ultrasounds which don't show any cancer.

Last week I had to leave work half way through because I was bleeding heavily. Having a wad of paper towels stuffed in your OK's isn't the most comfortable feeling. :^O

Oh my book hasn't arrived yet. I told my Buddhist teacher about it and she's going to buy a copy too. I'm so looking forward to it arriving!

Freddie just wondering if I may ask a few questions?  Only if you want to of course.

Firstly I know nothing about radiation therapy, so sorry if they are stupid questions.

Does it hurt when you are having the treatment?

Do you feel sick afterwards, and for how long?

When you travel home after treatment should the driver take any special care (eg: avoid really windy roads etc)?

I'm a volunteer red cross patient transport driver, and one day I'll have to transport someone for radiation treatment and I wouldn't want to make thier trip home unnecessarily unpleasant.

No it doesn't hurt, it takes longer to set up then it takes for the radiation, the actual radiation is only a matter of about 4 mins. Around about the 2nd week the area being treated becomes very red and burnt, it can blister and weep. They have a nurse available to check you are doing OK, the nurse weighs you weekly, and provides creams etc to help with any issues which crop up along the way. They also have a dietition to help if you are having problems with maintaining your weight during your treatment time.

I guess some people may become unwell, but from being with my OH when he went through his treatment, he became very fatigued, slept lots.

I don't think there would be any issues with travelling,

my boss (stepdad) has said some things that are waaaay out of line and I just can't get past it 😞

struggled for the past 3 days getting through the work day.... But now I have the next 4 days with my kids. ❤️

today miss Samantha & I are meeting my bestie with the twin girls at the shops to get their ears pierced and shop and have lunch .... The girls (Gemma & ivy)  are both thriving! 9 months old and reaching all the milestones 🙂

this weekend is a busy ones with the teens.. Saturday is soccer for mr 13, a special disney feature movie for miss 16 a screening of Cinderella where she (and Sammy) are dressing up in full costume etc, my lil sis and mum are also coming!

Then miss 16 will get an hour driving practice taking her brother to a friends o/night party! Then another hour drive back home!!! Can somewhat relax for the night buuuut, I need to cook fried rice, pavlova & cake pops for my sis bday lunch the next day!!

Sunday.... Sammy swimming lesson 9am, then home for bath & breaky, then has to nap in car while Miss 16 drives us an hour to pick up brother from party, then hour back in time to go to my little sister new house for a big family lunch!

Then later in arvo Mr 13 has another soccer game!!!

Busy busy weekend, then were work week starts over again 😞
