Hey bright.ton, I don't think it's a shame, in fact, like Darki I'm not interested in debating one sided religious doctrine with those who make no room for other spiritual philosophies.  It's not a conversation with these people, because their beliefs are so inflexible, reason, logic and tolerance are lost to dogma. 

Neither am I interested Cue which is why I don't debate with them. either. I just say thankyou but no thankyou.   🙂

Imagine by comparison, if traditional Krishna bhajan dancers came down your driveway = it would be entertaining but they don't door knock unfortunately...I'd pay to see that.

been polite and as soon as I indicate that I'm not interested they have

To the first question no, I've never had little children arrive with the callers ....

and I wouldn't want to swear at them anyway.

No condescension from them  -  maybe I'm just lucky as they have been really

pleasant and when I told them I wasn't interested and my dog ran out we ended

up talking about dogs.   😉

No I'm not really a tolerant person, wish I was more actually.  

  If my callers were anything like you describe/experienced  they'd be bundled off smartly.  🙂
