A morning meal that satisfies 🙂 🙂 🙂
I just toasted crumpets for my son and I. Mine was crunchy and buttery and tasted yummy.
He'd already had leftover Thai chicken soup with ginger, lol, and an apple.
What do you like eating for breakfast?

Is anyone else a fan of streaky bacon?
Yes but needs to be crunchy.
I try to have different breakfasts during one week.
1. Oatbran cereal.
2. Toasted egg, cheese n tomato sandwich.
3. Apple, banana n orange.
4. Protein shake and fruit.
5. Bacon n eggs on toast.
6. Jam or lime marmalade on toast. (Rose's)
7. Whole grapefruit and glass of chocolate soy milk.

I'm not a breakfast eater and like Freddie, I need to be up at least an hour before I can even think about food. I do need my coffee though, the minute I wake up. Because I have to be to work at 7 a.m. I don't usually eat until lunch time. On Sundays, though, I usually fix my husband and I a big breakfast of bacon, eggs, and fried potatoes with bell peppers and onions. We also sometimes have SPAM instead of bacon. They have come out with a new flavor of SPAM. It is chorizo flavored and is really good. Do they sell SPAM in Australia?

Well, I just have to brag. This is the menu of tonight's celebratory dinner.
Fillet steak, dry fried rare, sliced after cooking (2 large).
Bake at home bread rolls.
Caramelised onions (first time I'd made them, took a long time, needed something else)
Devilled eggs with mayo, dijon mustard, and I even used curry powder for the first time in 2 decades.
Potato salad with ranch dressing
Mushroom salad with a vinaigrette dressing
Tomato, cucumber, mushroom salad with fresh coriander and basil, rosemary and oregano.
Black olives, sliced (I love these)
Sweet chilli sauce (tasted great with the steak).
Chopped fresh onion (for me).
Ok, I ate 2 small pieces of steak (it was good, I like fillet steak), and some of the salads. The kid ate the rest of two large pieces of steak and finished off the salads. Any thought I had of leftovers for breakfast vanished.
Apart from the caramelised onions, I could eat all of the above for breakfast ... the onions not because they have a kind of rich taste that goes with later in the day ... and they took about 3 hours to make.
