Over the next few days you will see changes to the eBay header across the Australian site.
The changes to look out for are:
The Sell and Help & Contact links will move to the left hand side of the header.
The Community link will move to the footer.
There won't be any drop-down menus associated with the above links. You can still find the pages that used to appear in the drop-down options through the Help & Contact page
A new Notifications section can be found on the right hand side of the header.
Regards
The eBay team.

The shopping cart has been there for a while now. Don't think the bell has.
The notification bell is a feature of the ebay apps.
Save CS to your bookmarks bar and you will never lose it... until they can CS anyway.

There is a lot of blank white space up the top, especially between the paid ad and my eBay - Community would have had oodles of room to be slotted in there.. To the left of g'day and right of shopping cart is empty space too.
I filled out the tell us what you think thing down the bottom. Put the Community link back at the top of the page.

At the top of this webpage in between My Ebay and Shopping Cart.
It is for notifications - so if you bid and win an item or sell an item it will show up there is a msg or something. Or you need to pay for item bought, or seller needs to post item buyer has paid for.
Also shows watched items if you hover your mouse over it.

Why??? Just to keep us on our toes???
It's the corporate solution when they can't or won't fix the things that we'd really like fixed...or really NEED to be fixed..
Att the eBay IT meeting: "Just change the front page, that'll do."

They're not nearly through with the changes....if they are going to do to Australia what they did to the US Community Groups. ๐
