Changes to the eBay header across the Australian site

Over the next few days you will see changes to the eBay header across the Australian site.

The changes to look out for are:

The Sell and Help & Contact links will move to the left hand side of the header.

The Community link will move to the footer.

There won't be any drop-down menus associated with the above links. You can still find the pages that used to appear in the drop-down options through the Help & Contact page

A new Notifications section can be found on the right hand side of the header.

Regards

The eBay team.

The page does seem never-ending,  but if you click on  'legal privacy and more'

it will give you the link to community

I didn't see any Legal Privacy and More link . . . all I saw was a seemingly endless loading of adverts I didn't want to see. I'm not going back to that page any time soon.

That's the way to drive customers away, ebay. Smiley Sad

Timing of introducing this 'hide the Discush Forums' just days before Qld Election......

was convenience?

Deliberate?

or Coincidence?

....on ebay's part ???

Surely not. This is a rather obscure discussion forum to begin with. it's not up there with facebook or twitter or any of the other so-called  "electronic graffiti" sites.

There are only a very few posters here now, and only a few lurkers. I think it's a dying forum, and ebay  (oddly) seems to be putting its own boot in.

Ebay seems to be finishing off the job already done so well by the Members who report other people's posts.

You don't have to go scrolling for legal privacy and more.

It's on the bottom right of the screen

Really does Ebay think I am going to read all that garbage on the front page, not likely. Bookmark coming up, although I did already have Ebay bookmarked. Talk about trying to kill the forums....Hmmm, that may be the idea.

Bookmark is the way to go, I bookmark every site I go to, that I use, that way I can always get in.

So, we're just going to become a bunch of old sad sacks bickering amongst ourselves Smiley Sad

Where is everyone going to go? Any suggestions for some lively, relatively friendly chat sites?
