Charged over racist rant on train

She was angry that two kids did not get up and give her a seat, So she called the police to report it. Then things got a bit crazy as others started, imo, adding fuel to the fire.

She has been charged with using offensive language/

In no way do i condone her behavior, but i also dont condone the behaviou of the guy filming it who stirred it up even more by calling her a rude name.

I doubt the scam story but if it is true why would you advertise it? bishop is going to Myanmar shortly, she is planning on "talking" to them about human rights (anyone smell hypocrisy), I see a job for this woman assisting bishop, they could probably work well together.

If he hadn't done that, then she would have got away with it.

The police were waiting at the station for her because she called them. She told them she had been abused, they took down her details and that was the end of it. They thought SHE was the one on the recieving end.

Actually she didn't call them. She pretended to make the call to the police. Also the name she gave during the pretend call was a fake name. The police who were at the station were there because of reports from other people apparently. Disgusting behaviour from someone who should have known better. Abusing the children and using the f bomb to them is also something a woman of her age should know better to do.

She deserves all she gets and a $500 fine is nothing.

There are many different stories in the media.  One was she lives with her elderly father and was visiting her husband

who is in a nursing home.  Then she lost $100,000.00 on a dating website to a dutchman.  Whatever.

She ranted and raved at the "ugly bogans" for not giving up their seats.  Just imagine how she would have

reacted if they were asian children taking up the seats.

People had a go at her but more people should have spoken to the children.  Those little ones didn't need to hear more shouting going on.  

A word to the kids would have been nicer because they wouldn't understand what was going on.

As for the woman, wow, she really lost it.  I'm not saying I condone her behaviour because I think it was pretty disgusting but I think everyone attacking her is just as bad.  She needs help in a big way.

yep joono, I don't think any "normal" person would carry on like she did...I'm thinking she is one of lifes oddballs.

Poor kids will be a bit stressed next time they catch a train.  I'm sure the Asian lady will get over it but how awful and upsetting for her to hear such abuse.
