A father has written a nasty piece about a disgruntled passenger in first class that was seated next to his toddler daughter.
Is he for real? I would have been furious to have paid for a first class airline ticket and then be forced into baby sitting a two year old.
I think the airline was wrong and the father is a nong. What do you think?

I have sat near - beside, infront of, behind kids on planes and they havent' chatted to me. Some little ones will stand on the seat in front and peer over at you, usually their parents tell them to sit down. I just smile at them...I find them entertaining. I have seen parents getting off planes with kids (young babies too) and not even realised they were on the plane.
A passenger yelled at my kids once, they were never out of their seats, it was a shortish, day time flight. They may have jiggled around a bit that is all (they would have been around 3-5 yrs old).
My daughter flew on a plane when she was 11 by herself, they put her next to (her words) an old man.. she wasn't that happy about that.

The Mum was sitting next to the child... Mum, child, intolerant young male. Male wanted the mother & daughter moved and the Flight attendants moved them.
I would happily sit next to your granddaughter Clair. Giving an opinion on the topic is not fighting, even if it doesn't agree with the opening posters view.

The child was seated on her mum's lap, she didn't have her own seat.

Domestic flight and the child was under 2? so child wasn't required to have her own seat? You would think if, as it appears from the fathers comments, the mother was upgraded to 1st Class (as was the complaining male) they would have given the child her own seat in 1st class.

perhaps there was no extra seat?
