My Husbands nurse does not believe in coffee, tea, alcohol, or chocolate. Any gift suggestions please. I am totally at a loss.

anything, as its the thought that counts not the gift itself or chocolates as he can always give them to someone-else.

All the men in my family love a gift box of Glace fruits....even those who don't like chocolates.
My in laws used to send us a massive box of Ditters glace fruits from Adelaide....they were very yummy.

A diary or a gift voucher to a newsagents then he can buy what he wants.
or even a gift voucher to a book shop.
in those situations i always find vouchers are the way to go and it isn't too personal.

As a suggestion, although it might be a bit pricey, for what you're looking for, for under $25 there's the Victorinox Classic SD.
It's 58mm long (about 2 1/4 inch), so it fits well on a key ring.
It has, as the picture shows, a small blade, scissors and a nail file. Also, there's a toothpick and a pair of tweezers that fit into the handle.
